Being a mom is my greatest achievement.

Family life is worth everything. Being healthy, happy, having the freedom to choose, to travel, to love and be loved. No amount of money could ever buy true happiness. Money can buy pleasure, but as Dr Rangan Chatterjee discusses in his most recent podcast, happiness isn't about pleasure. Pleasure can be associated with rehab- I love this. Happiness is earned, it requires effort and commitment.

Some how, my daughters are in their final year of primary school and the beginning of high school. 🏫🎓
Seeing them flourishing into young ladies is so rewarding. 🥰💖

My eldest has changed in one day, she's not a little girl any more, she has grown up qithin 7 hours. 🥹 👩‍👧‍👧

Make the most of your children's childhood. Cliché, but blink and you'll miss it. We were shopping for toiletries earlier, and the baby aisle seemed like a memory from a lifetime ago.

I take the saying literally. Manually mowing a former field into the manicured lawn I dreamt of is hard work. If I don't put my back into it, it doesn't move. Manual mowing is a workout that is far more satisfying than shifting free weights. I still love free weights, but this is something else. The rain has done wonders for mg grass, and the garden areas outside are looking luscious. The cows were particularly interested in me, I had an audience for the whole mow. 🐄🌿💪

My environment became too much. Stress triggered alopecia, which I was also predisposed to with my genes. So when I saw a photo of my scalp, I realised the damage was deeper than my feelings. My body was suffering. Having rebuilt and found my new sense of purpose, a new regime and confidence, I'm here to help others.
