In the final days before term starts I have been busy refreshing my annual basic training, with GDPR, safeguarding, food safety and hygiene and paediatric first aid. Whilst none of this is exciting new learning it is really important that we keep up to date with current policies and advice that impact our day to day practice. I always find that the summer break gives me chance to breath and reflect and put priorities in place for the coming academic year and am excited to be presenting at several events in the coming months. Watch this space for details.

Last night and myself delivered the final module of our BREAD Approach to Regultion. This has been an exciting program of training for school staff that has looked at evidenced based, scientifically grounded, practical stratergies to support children and young people to manage their arousal levels, increase vagal tone and stay within their window of tolerance.

We are using this knowledge and clinical experience to share with attendees at the fabulous TES show on London in October in our workshop Regulate to Educate.
