I dint think he would be able to sit for this! 2 days back to back! But we got it done thanks to Sam for sitting so well 🙌 7hours day one 6 hours day 2 I felt very mean putting the white in on the last day 😂😂

The design. This sleeve has a lot of elements involved a full outer sleeve packed with detail. My client asked for an Athena sleeve with her owl and if we could include medusa somewhere in the design.
And! Not to cover up his existing tattoo to somehow work it into the design. And this is what we came up with.

I like to design the whole sleeve before the first session so we can see the whole look in advance and have it flow throughout the peace.

Start of day one, my client Sam sat very well, he’s been waiting a long time to get this done.

End of day and we’ve got all the main focal points of the top of the design in. This design has a big focus on negative space and using the existing tattoo as basis to build upon.

End of day two!! My client was struggling towards the end and I felt very mean putting in the white highlights but Sam is incredible happy with the design well worth the pain!

Loved bringing all the different elements and techniques to this design, bold negative space And thick lines with realistic shading . using big/small mags, stipple and dot work to get the job done.

Very pleased with the finished result!
