We’re excited to launch our Summer Raffle in support of Stalham Community Gym!

We have two fantastic gardening hampers up for grabs, packed with goodies perfect for anyone who loves gardening and spending time outdoors this summer. 🌱☀️

Gardening is fantastic for both physical and mental wellbeing — helping to improve fitness, reduce stress, boost mood, and encourage time outdoors in nature.

Stalham Community Gym is a not-for-profit charity, and every ticket sold helps us continue our mission of “Health and Wellbeing for All.” Your support helps us keep our doors open and continue providing accessible health and wellbeing opportunities for our community. 💚

📌 OPENING TIMES & PRICES 📌

Following the recent increase in interest and the number of new members joining us, we wanted to confirm our current opening times and membership prices for everyone.

We’d also like to clarify our Junior Membership rules:

🔹 Junior members are aged 11–17
🔹 All junior members must be supervised by an adult while in the gym
🔹 The supervising adult does NOT need to be a member
🔹 The supervising adult does NOT need to train or use the gym themselves

We’re incredibly proud to have received the Community Group of the Year Award at the Stalham Town Council Annual Meeting.

It was such a great evening celebrating our town and recognising the people, groups and organisations that make our community so special. There is so much happening in Stalham, and it was wonderful to see so many people coming together to celebrate everything that makes our town such a great place to live. Congratulations to all of the other winners and everyone who was recognised on the night.

It’s wonderful to see our little community gym getting the recognition it deserves. This award means a great deal to everyone who has supported us, used the gym, volunteered their time, and helped us grow.

It also gives us even more motivation to keep improving what we offer for our community — creating a welcoming space that promotes wellbeing for all.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. We’re excited for what comes next.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in yesterday’s Fun Run and Health & Fitness Event. It was a fantastic day and a real celebration of our community.

Thank you to all of the runners, supporters, and families who came along and helped make the event such a success. The atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant.

A special thank you to the following people who we couldn't have done it without:

We’re also very grateful to Stalham Tesco for their generous donation of fruit, water and raisins to keep everyone going.

Cllr Matthew Taylor - Stalham, Sutton and Catfield for joining us and handing out the medals.

Joint Service Cadet Corps who did a fantastic job marshalling the route.

Broadland First Responders for being on hand to provide first aid.

A big thank you as well to all of our gym members who volunteered on the day. Including Alan who gave up his time to take photos of the day. Your time, effort and support made a huge difference.

Finally, a very special thank you to our gym committee. They worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to make the event what it was, and they continue to give so much of their time throughout the year to keep the gym running.

It was a brilliant community day that truly reflected everything our gym stands for — health, wellbeing, fitness, teamwork and community spirit.

After such a successful first event, we’re excited to say that we plan to make it an annual occasion. Thank you again to everyone who helped make it happen ❤️

🏃‍♀️🎉 We’re so excited for the Stalham Community Fun Run and Health & Fitness Fair tomorrow! 🎉🏃‍♂️

Join us from 10am – 3pm at the Stalham Poppy Centre for what promises to be a fantastic day full of fitness, fun, and community spirit.

We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the amazing number of people who have signed up for the runs – thank you so much for your support! Because of this, any sign-ups on the day will be taken on the understanding that we may be unable to provide a medal and goody bag.

If you’re local, please try to walk or car share where possible, as parking at the Recreation Ground will be limited. Alternative parking can be found on Brumstead Road, or there is a pay and display car park at the end of the High Street.

We’re really looking forward to seeing as many people as possible tomorrow and hope this will be a brilliant community event for everyone involved 💙

We’re excited to be hosting our Health & Fitness Fair alongside the Fun Runs on Saturday 2nd May from 10:00am – 3:00pm at the Stalham Poppy Centre!

Come along for a fun and inspiring day focused on health, wellbeing, and community 💪✨

You’ll have the opportunity to:

🤝 Meet local organisations showcasing their services
☕ Enjoy refreshments including ice cream van

Plus, there will be a fantastic variety of activities and demonstrations throughout the day, including:
