🍂🌾 Harvest Festival at Grand View Care Home! 🌾🍂

Today, we enjoyed a wonderful Harvest Festival celebration filled with smiles, laughter, singing and lots of lovely moments together! ❤️

We started our day by enjoying a lovely Harvest Festival service with Ben Topham, giving everyone the opportunity to come together and celebrate the season. 🙏

After our service, we enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, with plenty of tasty treats for everyone to enjoy! A big thank you to Lucy and the kitchen team for preparing such a lovely spread for us. 🥪🍰

The celebrations continued into the afternoon as we enjoyed a fantastic party with the wonderful Lesley Ann! 🎶 There was lots of singing, clapping, dancing and toe-tapping as everyone joined in, enjoyed the music and made some lovely memories together. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!

A huge thank you to Ben Topham, Lesley Ann, Lucy and the kitchen team, and all our wonderful staff who helped make today’s Harvest Festival such a special occasion. Your hard work and support helped make it a lovely day for everyone! 🧡

🌾 Happy Harvest Festival from everyone at Grand View Care Home! 🍂

Tomorrow, Friday 16th October, we’d love for you to come and join us as we celebrate Harvest Festival with a lovely day of community, music and togetherness!

Our day will include:

⛪ 11:00am – Holy Communion with Ben Topham
🍽️ 1:00pm – Buffet lunch
🎶 2:00pm – Live music from the wonderful Lesley Ann

We’re also collecting donations for Stamford & Oundle Food Bank as part of our Harvest celebrations. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated and helped us support our local community.

Harvest is a time to reflect on what we’re thankful for, share kindness and come together to help others. ❤️

Everyone is welcome, and we’d love to see you there! 🍁

🎄 STALL HOLDERS WANTED! 🎄

We’re getting ready for our Grand View Care Home Christmas Fair and would love to welcome some more wonderful local stall holders to join us! 🎅✨

We’re looking for local businesses, crafters and creatives offering arts & crafts, handmade gifts, Christmas decorations, cakes, bakes, sweet treats and unique gifts.

📅 Saturday 12th December 2026

If you’d like to have a stall and showcase your wonderful products, please get in touch with our Activities Team to secure your space.

🌾 Harvest Festival 🌾

We would love for you to join us on Friday 16th October as we celebrate our Harvest Festival together!

🙏 Holy Communion with Ben Topham – 11:00am
🍽️ Harvest Buffet Ground Floor Dining room/lounge– 1:00pm
🎶 Lesley Ann singing – 2:00pm

As part of our celebrations, we are also supporting our local community by collecting donations for Stamford & Oundle Foodbank.

If you would like to help, please bring along any donations and leave them at Reception.

All donations will be delivered to the foodbank on Monday 19th October.

Every little donation makes a difference, and we would be so grateful for your support. 💛

🍂 Harvest Festival – Food Bank Donations 🍂

As part of our Harvest Festival on 16th October, we would love to support Stamford & Oundle Food Bank and help local people in our community. If you would like to make a donation, we are collecting items at Reception.

The food bank is particularly in need of:

🥛 Long-life milk
🧃 Squash
🍓 Jam
🍮 Tinned or powdered custard
🥫 Tinned hot meat
☕ Coffee
🥕 Tinned carrots & peas
🧴 Deodorant
🧼 Shampoo & body wash
🪥Toothpaste

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a real difference to someone in need.

📅 Please bring donations to Reception by 16th October. They will then be taken to the food bank on 19th October.

A huge thank you to Michelle for bringing along her lovely kittens and animals for a special pet therapy visit! 🐱🐰🐾

Our residents had such a wonderful time interacting with the animals, enjoying lots of cuddles, smiles and precious moments. Thank you, Michelle, for bringing so much joy to our residents and staff! ❤️🐾

🎄 Calling all singers, entertainers & musical groups! 🎶🔔

We’re looking to bring some new faces, music and Christmas cheer into our home this December for our wonderful residents. ❤️

We’d love to hear from anyone who knows (or is!) a singer, entertainer, choir, bell-ringing group, musicians or other performers who might be interested in coming along to perform for our residents and help make Christmas extra special. 🎅🏻✨

We’re very open to different types of entertainment and would love to discover some local talent we haven’t had the pleasure of meeting before!

Fees are negotiable, and we’re happy to discuss availability, requirements and what you can offer. If you know someone who might be interested, please tag them below or ask them to get in touch with us. Feel free to share this post too the more people who see it, the better!

After having our mini bus fixed, we were so excited to get back out and about and enjoyed a lovely trip to The Boundary in Market Deeping☕🍰🌸

We enjoyed a delicious fish and chips lunch, lots of good company and plenty of smiles along the way! 😊❤️

On Friday, we were so pleased to welcome Hayden back to Grand View. We had such a lovely afternoon filled with singing, dancing, laughter and lots of smiles 🎶🕺

It was fantastic to see our residents joining in, having fun and enjoying every moment together🥰
