☕ Have a Cuppa & a Chat ☕

Tomorrow, as part of Loneliness Awareness Week, we'll be joining Mind Space and spending time on benches around Stamford town, offering a friendly face, a listening ear, and a warm welcome.

Life can feel lonely at times, and sometimes all it takes is a simple conversation to brighten someone's day. If you'd like a chat, a cuppa, or just a chance to sit with someone for a while, come and find us.

There's no agenda, no pressure, and no need to be struggling. Whether you'd like to share what's on your mind or simply enjoy a friendly conversation, we'd love to see you.

This initiative is being run by MindSpace Stamford, and we're proud to be volunteering alongside them to help encourage connection within our community.

Behind every caring role is a story 💙

When we talk about products like our sensory Joy for All Companion Pets, the focus is often on the people using them and the comfort they bring, the conversations they spark and the moments of connection they create.

We recently recieved a lovely case study from the team at The Cedars Bourne, who shared that the impact isn't just felt by residents, it's felt by the people caring for them too.

😄 Seeing a resident smile.
😌 Watching someone relax.
🫱🏻‍🫲🏽 Finding a new way to connect.
😮‍💨 Creating a moment of calm during a difficult day.

These moments matter.

For Sarah-Jayne, it was watching a resident called Romy become completely enchanted in conversation with one of the companion pets, opening up memories and stories about her lifelong love of animals.

For Lisa, it was seeing a sensory pet help bridge the gap between a resident and a nervous young visitor, creating a moment of connection that might not otherwise have happened.

The became more than a source of comfort. They became a way to build trust, spark conversation, ease loneliness and help people of all ages connect with one another.

Thank you to the team at The Cedars Bourne for sharing your experiences with us and for the incredible care you provide every day.

🎥 Hear their story in this week's reel. 💙

The Talking Easy Music Player was designed to do exactly what its name suggests - make listening simple.

With straightforward controls, a verbal guide to help you navigate controls, and an easy-to-read display, it's designed to help people enjoy the music and radio stations they love, without the fuss.

To celebrate the launch, it's currently available with 20% already applied online (only available for 2 weeks!)

Caring for someone often means carrying the things others don’t always see.

The routines that quietly hold a day together, the reassurance offered in uncertain moments, the difficult days, the endless patience and the small moments of comfort ❤️

During Carers Week, we’re taking a moment to recognise the people who show up every day for others - often without recognition, without pause and without expecting anything in return.

Products like HUG by LAUGH have shown how comfort and connection can sometimes come from the simplest interactions, offering reassurance, emotional support and a familiar presence during more difficult moments.

To every carer... thank you!

❤️ For your compassion.
❤️ For your patience.
❤️ For the countless things you do that often go unseen.

You make a difference in ways that are bigger than you probably realise 💙

When the world feels overwhelming, having something familiar can make all the difference.

Sensory tools, companion pets and calming environments can help create moments of reassurance, especially during times of confusion or anxiety.

Often, it’s the small, personal touches that shape how a space feels. A familiar routine, a favourite chair, soft lighting, something to hold onto.

What makes your home feel safe and supportive?

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to support.

What works for one person might not work for another, and often, it’s about finding the right balance based on everyday needs.

If you had to prioritise, what would matter most?

• Feeling confident leaving the house
• Having a clearer sense of time and routine
• Creating a calmer, more familiar environment at home

Let us know in the comments, what would you choose?

Finding calm in the small moments.

For many people living with dementia, everyday life can feel overwhelming - especially when there’s a lot to process or focus on.

Sensory tools, like fiddle blankets and activity books, can offer something simple but meaningful, a way to stay engaged, grounded and at ease.

In a recent feature, the Alzheimer's Society explored how sensory items like the fiddle blanket can support relaxation, reduce restlessness and provide a gentle focus during more difficult moments.

It’s about comfort, familiarity and having something to focus on when it’s needed.

Movement looks different for everyone, and every movement matters.

This International Dance Day, we’re celebrating the role that movement, rhythm and music can play in wellbeing, especially in care settings, where even the smallest moments of movement can bring joy, connection, and confidence.

Whether it’s a gentle sway, a tap of the foot or a shared moment of music, these experiences can support both emotional and physical wellbeing.

Our music and audio range is designed to make those moments more accessible, helping to spark memory, encourage movement and create meaningful connection through sound.
