The football season is back.

And whether you play professionally, at grassroots level or five-a-side after work, injury can be hugely frustrating.

MBST is used by elite football medical teams, and through our UK partner clinics players at every level can access MBST as part of personalised, clinician-led rehabilitation plans.

It is used as part of a wider rehabilitation programme and may sit alongside hands-on therapy, structured exercise, load management and other recovery approaches.

AD | Ever wondered what recovery and rehab really looks like for elite Rugby players?

For Bath Rugby’s Bernard van der Linde, a hamstring injury in last year’s pre-season meant surgery and months away from the pitch.

As part of his rehabilitation at Bath Rugby, Bernard worked closely with Head of Medical Rory Murray and the club’s physio team, with MBST integrated alongside hands-on treatment, gym-based rehab, strengthening and regular injury monitoring.

In this episode, Bernard and Rory share what that journey looked like from both sides.
Watch now to hear the story in their own words.

AD - Reflecting on last season as one of Bath Rugby’s recovery partners.

And what a season it was. Resilience, consistency and determination, right to the end.

At the start of the season, we installed an MBST device at Bath Rugby’s training ground and the medical team has been using the technology as part of wider injury rehabilitation plans for many of its players.

We spoke to Rory Murray, Bath Rugby’s Head of Medical, about what recovery means to him and why it’s where the magic happens.

An allotment can be more than somewhere to grow fruit & veg. It’s fresh air, gentle movement, time to think and the satisfaction of watching something grow.

But when joint pain or arthritis affects bending, lifting, kneeling or walking, it can limit how much time you’re able to spend doing what you love.

Pain can be limiting. It can get in the way of the places you love and the activities that bring you genuine joy.

This National Allotment Week, we’re celebrating the everyday activities that give us purpose, connection and joy, and recognising the importance of the right clinical support in helping people stay active.

MBST® is a non-invasive medical technology that may be used by clinicians as part of a wider care and rehabilitation plan for people experiencing musculoskeletal pain and mobility concerns.

A standout few days of elite track and field has reminded us what athletics demands: speed, strength, determination and countless hours of training, supported by considered recovery.

From club runners and weekend competitors to those chasing a new personal best, athletes at every level can benefit from taking their recovery and long-term wellbeing seriously.

Because every athlete deserves to keep doing the sport they love.

Come behind the scenes with us at the University of East London’s Neighbourhood Health Hub.

Our new MBST research centre will be opening very soon, bringing our non-invasive, clinician-led technology into a community health setting.

The centre forms part of a wider initiative at the Hub to help people stay active, return to work where possible and access support closer to home. It will contribute to the Hub’s wider work by expanding access to advanced, clinician-led care for people in Newham, East London, living with musculoskeletal concerns, including joint, back, muscle and bone-related issues. We can’t wait to show you more as the space comes to life.

Pain can affect far more than the body. When it stops you being active and doing the things you love, the emotional impact can be significant too.

That’s why at MBST we take a patient-focused approach, listen carefully and manage expectations honestly throughout the journey.

Supporting people means recognising both the physical and mental impact of living with pain.

We’re thrilled to announce MBST Health as a sponsor of the British Spartathlon Team.

Spartathlon is one of the most demanding ultrarunning events in the world. A gruelling 246km ultramarathon held annually in Greece.

Training for a race of this scale places extreme demands on the body. And recovery is an essential part of staying consistent and arriving at the start line prepared.

MBST is trusted by professionals in some of the most demanding sports, including football, rugby and athletics, and is used as part of wider rehabilitation programmes where injury management and time away from training really matter.

For ultrarunners, managing training demands and injury recovery is essential for long-term athlete wellbeing. Small niggles can become bigger problems if ignored, and recovery should never be treated as an afterthought.

Through our sponsorship of the British Spartathlon Team, we’re looking forward to supporting more education around recovery, injury support and helping to keep runners doing what they love.
