We make alterations to garments, bespoke size and style cushions and made to order products. Our amazing volunteer has created the sweetest Winnie the Pooh baby set, and we’re giving you the chance to win it in our latest hamper raffle!

Included in the set:

Tickets are just £1 per strip and can be bought by popping into the centre. Every ticket helps support the work we do for women, girls and families in our community.

Great to have St Bede's and Just for Women Centre at Parliament on Monday for a tour. We had a great discussion on violence against women and girls, women's safety on public transport, and educating boys and young men about misogyny.

✨ A Proud Moment for Our Young Women ✨

On Monday, our team and a group of incredible pupils from St Bede’s School who take part in our Young Girl's Project Group travelled to London for a very special visit to Parliament.

The girls took part in a Q&A session with our MP, Luke Akehurst MP sharing their thoughts on community safety, public transport and the support needed in schools around misogyny. They spoke with such confidence, maturity and passion, we are unbelievably proud of each and every one of them.

Luke also kindly gave the group a tour around Parliament, making the day even more memorable. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Luke for giving the girls his time, for listening so openly and for creating such a meaningful opportunity for them to have their voices heard.

A huge thank you to London North Eastern Railway as well for supporting us with our journey from Durham to King’s Cross and back. Your help made this experience possible.

It was a truly inspiring day and one the girls will carry with them for a long time.

We’re so excited to welcome our community to the Just For Women Centre’s first ever Garden Party — a colourful, calming afternoon filled with friendly faces, refreshments, stalls, tombola and a beautiful space to relax and connect.
