This lovely client came for a lip filler top up after getting filler for numerous years at another practitioner- after consultation we decided the best option was too dissolve and refill due to migration

✨ What is Migration?
Lip filler migration occurs when the injected product moves away from the intended area, often spreading beyond the lip line or into the surrounding tissue. This can create uneven, lumpy, or unnatural-looking results.
🔑 Why does it happen?
Here are a few common reasons for migration:
Overfilling: If too much filler is injected, it can overwhelm the lip tissues and cause product to spread outside the lips.
Incorrect Placement: The filler may be injected too superficially or in the wrong area of the lip, leading to migration.
Massage or Pressure: After treatment, massaging or applying pressure to the lips (whether accidentally or intentionally) can push filler out of the desired area.
