Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) commonly known as ‘tapping’ is a powerful technique, which helps to alleviate the trauma of emotions and memories around the body. We do this by tapping on meridian points around the body and saying certain words based on the symptoms you are encountering. It is often referred to as acupressure without the needles.

By releasing emotions and memories from the body in this way we can help to alleviate pain and illness, which often come from unresolved emotions. Once the distress is removed, the body can often heal and rebalance itself.

It is extremely useful in anxiety, anger, pain relief, phobias and much more. Basically it helps you to let go of whatever is holding you back. This is a powerful technique that once learned you can use outside of the sessions, whenever you need to.

I wouldn’t say that I am scared of heights however I don’t really like feeling out of control so when I booked to go up the Blackpool tower, I felt a bit uneasy about it. Especially as there is a glass panel you can stand on and look out!

A few days before leaving I did some tapping (emotional freedom technique or EFT) and when I went up the tower I felt a slight leg wobble in the lift which quickly disappeared and when I got to the top I stepped right on to the glass panel and even looked down!

EFT is a powerful technique that works really well on unresolved emotions, anxieties, pain, trauma and yes you guessed it - fear!

2-4 sessions is usually enough to rid you of most fears, which is amazing when you think how debilitating a fear can be and how it can rule your life.

Ahead of world no to***co day at the weekend… 🚭

How would you like to stop smoking, feel better and live more healthily? Is smoking a habit something or maybe you have another unhealthy habit you’d like to get rid of?

Perhaps lockdown made you take up an unhealthy habit or worsened one you already had and you’re ready to stop it now.

Unhealthy habits can be anything from smoking, drinking, drugs, eating too much or too little, nail biting, low motivation, procrastinating, withdrawing etc.

I know lots of people are now prioritising their health and I know many people have increased their daily intake of ci******es through working from home and want to stop smoking.

Habits are formed in the subconscious mind and serve a purpose however we can stop these habits through hypnotherapy as it works with the subconscious mind and can reprogram habits successfully.
