🍂 Flu Vaccination Clinics 2026 🍂

We are now starting to send booking links to patients who are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination this autumn.

If you receive a booking link, please use it to book an appointment at one of our dedicated flu clinics. If you are not able to use the booking link, please call reception and our friendly ream will happily book your appointment for you.

✅ Walk-in clinics will also be available every weekday from 1 October 2026, starting at 9.00am. These clinics are intended for eligible patients who are passing the surgery and would like to receive their flu vaccination without a pre-booked appointment.

📱 Haven't received a booking link? If you believe you are eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination, please contact Reception and our team will be happy to help you arrange an appointment.

Getting vaccinated is the best way to help protect yourself and those around you during the winter months.

⚠️ Important Change to Our Online Contact System

SystmConnect will stop being available on 21 July 2026.
From this date, patients will need to use Rapid Health instead when contacting the practice online.
Rapid Health will become the main way for patients to submit medical and administrative requests through The Linden Medical Group website.

Rapid Health uses email verification to help keep your information secure. If you do not have a current email address recorded with the practice, you may be unable to access some online features, including appointment booking, until your details have been updated.
📞 If you are unable to use online services, our reception team will continue to be available to help and support you.

A faster way to book your appointments is on the way

Hello,

A positive change is coming to our practice. We are launching Smart Triage – a new and quicker way to book appointments and send requests to the practice. We plan to start using it from 21st July 2026. For most people, it will be the fastest way to get an appointment.

Smart Triage will help us respond faster, make sure we see people with the greatest need first, and free up our GPs to spend more time caring for patients and less on admin. It’s designed mainly for new health problems, though you can also use it for simple admin requests like a sick/fit note.

Using it is simple. You’ll fill in an online form, that takes about three and a half minutes to complete. (For those without online access, our phone lines will be available as normal.) Based on your answers, Smart Triage will guide you to the right appointment.

Note that Smart Triage is a proven, NHS-assured system that keeps your information secure.

What do I need to do now? Please check that we have the right email address on your medical record. You’ll need this to use the system. If you’re not sure, you can update your details via the NHS app, or by contacting reception.
