🤌1 week post surgery🤌

Pain ~ Horrendous
Range ~ Non-existent
Strength ~ Like butter in an oven

Surgery came with a few complications, lasting a little under 3 hours compared to the 30mins it was meant to take; a lot of drilling, tugging and chatter made the time fly by😳

A little bit of ulnar nerve damage sustained which is affecting two of my fingers, but all in all, very happy to hear the large plate finally sat perfectly after some hassle!☺️

Thankfully, my partner and I moved into our new home last week so I’ve been kept busy watching everyone around me work hard whilst I’ve had my feet up😅*a side note that I have no WiFi or phone signal till mid August, so massive apologies for the very delayed to messages!

Working properly at present is still a way off, but aiming to be back one-handed in a few weeks once I’ve developed enough strength so open a bottle of cream😅a big thank you to for their support whilst I work out the next steps!

A tough one for me personally last weekend following a freak accident at work which resulted in a dislocated wrist, multiple fractures and a slightly bruised ego😣but a very huge thank you to the doctors and nurses who reset my wrist, unbelievable appreciation🫶

The knock on of this will primarily affect my ability to work and in honesty is probably the hardest part to swallow at present, but very determined to fix up and get back to it!🤞

Surgery is booked for early this week to have some plates put in to help my bones reattach and give the best outcome for stability and future use, with my absolute highest priority being an excellent recovery and rehabilitation phase! The perfect opportunity to take you along my journey should you wish to see it as well as giving a broader insight into what I do day in day out, with all the ups and downs that physical rehabilitation naturally comes with, from the heart👊

Excited to get going and to be able to put my own hair up again, which for those that know me will appreciate how strange embracing the “hair down” lifestyle is😂
