WHEN YOUR MIND RUNS AWAY WITH YOU 🤍
Sometimes, when we're frightened, overwhelmed or exhausted, our minds can become incredibly convincing.

What if something happens?
What if something goes wrong?
What if…?
And before we know it, a thought has become a possibility… the possibility has become a threat… and our body is responding as though the threat is already real!!!

So take a moment to remember:
A thought is not a fact.
A thought is an idea.
A presentation.
An advertisement from the depths of your mind.

You can notice that idea in exactly the same way you might notice an advertisement on the television, on the radio, or even see one on the side of a bus.

You don't have to argue with it.
You don't have to believe it.
And you don't necessarily have to do anything about it at all.
Because here's the thing…

You have a choice.

You can engage with the thought.

You can examine it.
Follow it.
Give it your attention
Climb aboard and cling on like a rodeo!

Or you can simply notice:
“Ah… there's a thought.”

And allow it to run its course
As you remember, a thought- is just a thought.
Fact is fact.

Then come back to where you are.
Feel your feet on the floor.
Notice the room around you.
Listen to the sounds around you.
Feel the breath moving through your body.
And, when your mind presents you with another challenging possibility, you can ask:
“Is this a fact… or is this a thought?”
Because when we're in overdrive, we can forget the facts.
And sometimes the most soothing thing we can do is come back to what we actually know.

The thought is there.
But I am here.

The thought is not the fact.

And I have a choice about where I place my attention. 🤍

Slightly ‘wordy’ post - but 100% valid!!

is why I love the work I do.
A few months ago, I received a message from a lady who had been trying to conceive for many years.

She had just undergone a round of IVF and asked about having a Shamanic Womb Healing session.

My advice was simple…. Let’s wait. Wait to see what happened with the IVF, and if it wasn’t successful, we could then think together about which support might feel right for her.

Sadly, a few weeks later, she messaged to tell me that the IVF had been unsuccessful. 💔

When she felt emotionally ready, we booked our session, and as it happened, our date fell beautifully alongside the May Flower Moon, associated with fertility, growth and new beginnings. 🌕🌸
I mean … 🤯

This session was deeply layered. We used gentle breathwork to help shift what felt stagnant and to move into a beautiful, relaxed, trance-like state where we could explore beliefs, conditioning and subconscious patterns.

We worked with ancestral themes and maternal-line beliefs, exploring what she felt she had inherited and what she wanted to release.

We also explored the idea of reclaiming the gifts, strengths, talents and sense of fertility within her ancestral line - so important!

We worked with her relationship with her body, future-paced the life she wanted to move towards, using positive therapeutic subconscious practices.

And then…

Today, I received this message:

“Hi hope you're well! I just want to say a huge THANK YOU for helping me and my body. I'm glad to tell you I'm 13 weeks pregnant 🥰 I'm so grateful for you, I wouldn't have been able to do this alone so thank you!! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼”

🥹❤️ genuine tears of happiness for this beautiful woman 🥹🤍

I want to be very clear:
I would NEVER claim that this work caused her pregnancy. Fertility is complex, IVF is complex, and her pregnancy is her own beautiful journey.

BUT, I can say how incredibly honoured I am to have been trusted to support her emotionally, energetically and therapeutically during such an important chapter of her life.

I am so, so happy for her and her family.

What a beautiful new beginning. 🥹🤍🥹 Congratulations 🙌🏼
