5 Lessons From My Current Book
I'm currently reading We Are As Gods by Steven Kotler.
It's not an aesthetics book, but several ideas made me think about running a clinic.
1. Adapt Or Get Left Behind
The aesthetics industry changes quickly.
New treatments. New technology. New patient expectations.
The clinics that do well are usually the ones that adapt fastest.
Question: What change have you been putting off for the last 12 months?
2. Do More Of What You're Good At
We all have parts of the job we enjoy and parts we don't.
The more time you spend doing what you do best, the better your results tend to be.
Question: Which part of your clinic gives you the most energy?
3. Small Changes Matter
Most clinic growth doesn't come from one big breakthrough.
It comes from lots of small improvements.
A better consultation.
A better follow-up.
A better patient journey.
Question: What's one thing you could improve this week?
4. Never Stop Learning
What worked five years ago may not work today.
The most successful practitioners keep learning, testing and improving.
Question: What new skill are you currently working on?
5. Use Technology To Save Time
AI and automation are changing everything.
But patients still buy trust, confidence and relationships.
Use technology to handle repetitive tasks so you can spend more time with patients.
Question: What task could you automate this month?
