My top 5 takeaways from Andy Lambert and Luan Wise's superb monthly update:

1️⃣ If your target market is under 25 it is worth getting your head around BeReal
2️⃣ User-Generated Content outperforms conventional ads on the same topic by 20-50% - are you actively working with creators?
3️⃣ Snapchat is not to be forgotten, particularly if you need to reach 13-18 year-olds
4️⃣ TikTok users spend an average of 25.7 hours per month on the platform (3 x more than Instagram)
5️⃣ Interactivity and participation is the direction of travel for Social Media - TikTok's new interactive ads are a great example and a powerful new format.

Plus, Elon's $44 billion purchase of Twitter will have a massive impact, but it will be 2023 before this materialises.

Wow, Eddie Redmayne in Cabaret is phenomenal 🔥

I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the hottest tickets in town yesterday.

This production is a fantastic marketing masterclass from start to finish:
🎟before tickets went on sale, a huge buzz was created with the casting of Eddie Redmayne
🍾 thoughtful, enticing extras were included in the sales process
🎷 the product was full of surprise and delight (including schnapps on arrival and sc****ly clad talented musicians in unusual positions!)
🕴a minor technical glitch was quickly acknowledged, owned, and apologised for

The whole experience is 100% worth the premium price - I highly recommend it.

What are your hopes and dreams for 2022?

I'm a fan of setting goals and thought I'd share mine for this year - you can see how fascinating Boy Wonder found them!

Physical
✅ Walk, run, or crawl 10 kilometers a day (2021 I averaged 9.1, so it's an achievable stretch)
Mental
✅ Participate as a Beta Tester in an exciting new programme!
Spiritual
✅ Be kind to me, delight in each day, keep practicing RESPONDING rather than REACTING - any tips on this one gratefully received 🙏
Social
✅ Have a damn good bash to celebrate turning 50 in October 🎉

This year I've framed my goals in the quadrants that I try to complete each day. I find them a handy litmus test for a healthy balance - sometimes it's easier said than done!!

Sending you positive energy and a virtual hug (cause you can never have too many) for a happy and healthy 2022 💋
