✨ The perfect laser hair removal skin reaction… ✨

A little redness around each hair follicle after your treatment? That’s exactly what we want to see. 👏

This is called perifollicular erythema and oedema. A completely normal, temporary response that tells us the laser energy has been absorbed by the hair follicle.

💡 Why does it happen?
The laser targets the melanin (pigment) in the hair. The light energy is converted into heat, which travels down to the follicle to damage the cells responsible for future hair growth. As your body responds to this controlled heat, you may notice:
• Mild redness
• Small, raised bumps around the follicles (often described as goosebumps)
• Warmth in the treated area

These reactions usually settle within a few hours, although for some clients they can last up to 24–48 hours depending on skin sensitivity.
