CHOOSING A MOISTURISER.
Moisturisers are defined to make your skin softer and more flexible by increasing its hydration.
Moisturisers work by keeping water locked into the skins cells by helping to reinforce the oily layer on the surface of the skin known as the hydrolipidic film. This film is vital in preventing moisture being lost through the skin and in keeping the skin smooth, supple and youthful.
Applying a moisturiser is also a good opportunity to massage the skin, which helps to stimulate blood circulation and increase muscle tone.
All skin has its own natural moisturising ability, but as we grow older this decreases, all skin types should moisturise morning and night. Skin behaves differently at different stages in our life, so sometimes you may need to switch moisturisers.
So how do you choose which moisturisers to use.
