A week on… and we’re still looking back on an amazing summer of Harbour Fest! ☀️🎉

We’re a little sad that all our Harbour Fest events are over, but what a summer it was! From themed celebrations and live entertainment to games, dancing, animals, food and plenty of smiles, there was so much fun across our homes.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Harbour Fests so special! Here’s a little look back at some of the highlights… ✨

Congratulations to the team at Regents View Care Home, who recently took on a sponsored walk from South Shields to Roker Beach, passing Souter Lighthouse along the way - a great chance for a Harbour team picture!

The walk was in aid of the Residents’ Fund, helping to raise money towards special experiences, activities and treats for the residents who live at Regents View. 💙

Well done to everyone who took part, what a brilliant team effort! 👏🎉

That’s a wrap on Harbour Fest! 🎉

The final Harbour Fest events took place across our homes last weekend, bringing a fantastic summer of celebrations to a close! From the 1950s-themed Harbour Fest at Woodlands Care Home to the Wild West at The Granby Care Home, we’ve seen so many creative ideas, amazing activities and plenty of fun across Harbour Healthcare! 🎶

A huge well done to everyone involved for making Harbour Fest so special! We hope our residents, relatives, teams and communities have enjoyed lots of fun, laughter and special moments together. 💙💛

Happy International Dog Day! 🐾

Today, we’re giving a special shout-out to the amazing therapy dogs who visit our care homes and bring so much joy to our residents. ❤️

From a gentle cuddle and a waggy tail to simply spending time together, these four-legged visitors have a wonderful way of brightening the day and creating special moments for everyone they meet.

A huge thank you to all the incredible therapy dogs and their handlers for the happiness, comfort and companionship they bring to our homes. 🐶
