We're excited to be at the Museum of Policing In Cheshire Open Day today alongside partner agencies.

Great to see so many new faces interested in what we do.

If you're visiting, pop along and see Dr Amit and Paramedic Jack who'll be happy to show you our kit and answer any questions.

Our vehicles sure get a battering and regular maintenance is essential to ensure we get to those patients who need us in time.

We wanted to make a huge shout out to our new neighbours Dave and the team from Grappenhall Motors Ltd who put TS1 through its MOT today. Thankfully it passed with no issues.

When volunteer responder John went to collect the vehicle, he was informed that there would be no charge as a token of thanks for the work we do.

We've already said this week, the support we get from the public truly is humbling โค๏ธ . Thanks to you all.

๐Ÿ“ฆ THE NWPCCC UNBOXING TEAM HAS BEEN BUSY! ๐Ÿ“ฆ

Our two charity mascots were given a very important job at the new base...

Unboxing all the incredible gifts you've been sending us from our Amazon Wish List!

And there were quite a few boxes to get through!

When we first opened the doors to our new home, we were starting with a largely empty building. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, it is already beginning to feel like a proper base.

From kitchen essentials and everyday supplies to the little things that make a building feel welcoming, you've helped us make an enormous start.

โ˜• A special thank you to Sara Harris, who bought us a kettle, arguably one of the most important pieces of equipment in any emergency service base! A proper brew is now officially available. ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Another huge thank you to Jamie at Green Label PHEM, who very generously purchased a whole collection of kitchen equipment and supplies, so our volunteers now actually have something to eat and drink out of... plus quite a bit more!

And then there are all of you whose names we don't know.

Amazon doesn't tell us who has purchased each item, which means there are people reading this who have sent something to our base and haven't received the personal thank you they deserve.

So this one is for you:

THANK YOU. โค๏ธ

Whether you bought something large or small, every single parcel has meant something to us. Seeing those boxes arriving and knowing that people believe enough in what our volunteers do to help us build this new home has been genuinely humbling.

Our mascots may have done the unboxing, but you filled the boxes.

There are still a few items waiting for a new home if you'd like to take a little peek at the Wish List...

๐Ÿ›’ https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/NTZOB8N0O164

From every one of our volunteers, thank you for helping build the next chapter of NWPCCC.

๐Ÿ  WEโ€™VE MOVED IN! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿš‘

After more than 50 years of serving communities across the North West, we can finally say something weโ€™ve never been able to say before...

NWPCCC has a home. โค๏ธ

Our very first permanent base.

Watching the keys turn in the door was one thing. Watching our volunteers carry the first furniture in, set up our training space and begin turning an empty building into our base was something else entirely.

This isn't just somewhere to park a response vehicle.

It will become a place where our volunteer clinicians can train, where lifesaving equipment can be stored and maintained, where responders can prepare before heading out to incidents, and importantly, somewhere they can come back to, decompress and look after one another after some of the most difficult calls imaginable.

It gives us somewhere to grow, somewhere to develop the next generation of responders and a home from which we can continue bringing enhanced pre-hospital care to patients across the North West.

But we couldn't have started filling an empty building without some incredible support.

A HUGE thank you to:

๐Ÿš› Chadkirk Transport for donating an HGV to help us move everything into our new home.

๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ Sentinel Ambulance Service for donating two sofas.

๐Ÿช‘ Ambutech for donating 12 chairs for our new lecture and training area.

โค๏ธ Nigel Bailey for funding two reclining chairs for our responder welfare area.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ ACEL for donating an incredible amount of office furniture to help us get up and running.

You have all helped turn four empty walls into the beginnings of something very special.

And we're only getting started...

There are a lot more people to thank, and we'll be sharing some of those tomorrow. ๐Ÿ‘€

We still have a few things on our Amazon Wish List for anyone who would like to help put the finishing touches to our new home:

๐Ÿ›’ https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/NTZOB8N0O164

For a charity with no paid staff, every chair, cup, shelf and piece of equipment makes a difference.

Welcome to the new home of NWPCCC. ๐Ÿš‘โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ“ Julyโ€™s activity, mapped across the North West.

Yesterday we shared a glimpse of the incredible work carried out by our volunteer team throughout July. Today, our incident map shows just how far that support reached.

Every point on this map represents more than a callout.

It represents someone who was seriously ill or injured. Someoneโ€™s parent, partner, child, friend or loved one, experiencing what may have been one of the most frightening days of their life.

When those moments happen, our volunteer clinicians respond alongside our NHS colleagues, bringing advanced pre-hospital critical care directly to the patient.

From Merseyside and Cheshire to Greater Manchester and Lancashire, our team continues to respond wherever their specialist skills are needed.

Our volunteers give their time freely, but putting them on the road, maintaining our equipment and keeping our service operational all comes at a cost.

So when you donate, fundraise, support an event or simply share one of our posts, you are helping us reach the next patient who needs us. ๐Ÿ’™

Thank you for continuing to stand behind our volunteers and the work they do.

14/08/2026

๐Ÿ’™ Behind every callout is a person having one of the worst days of their life.

Throughout July, our volunteer doctors & paramedics once again gave their time freely to be there when people across the North West needed them most.

From serious medical emergencies to major trauma, every mission is different. Behind every dot on our map is a patient, a family and a moment where specialist care can make an enormous difference.

Our volunteers leave their families, their homes and their everyday lives behind when the call comes. They bring advanced skills, experience and critical care directly to the patient, often working alongside our NHS colleagues in incredibly challenging circumstances.

And they do it completely voluntarily.

We could fill this post with statistics, but instead, we want you to watch our July video and see the impact for yourself. โค๏ธ

To every one of our volunteers who gave their time during July, thank you.

And to everyone who donates, fundraises, shares our posts or supports our charity, thank you too. Your support helps make every one of these missions possible.

New donation news!

North West Pre-hospital Critical Care Charity has enhanced its volunteer-led specialist pre-hospital critical care service thanks to a ยฃ4,960 donation from the HELP Appeal via the British Association for Immediate Care.

The funding has contributed towards the purchase of essential frontline equipment, including PAX specialist medical response bags; Manta helmets for clinical responders and high-visibility response jackets.

The new equipment has improved responder readiness and increased the availability and standardisation of frontline response equipment, when clinicians are attending major trauma, cardiac arrest and other complex medical emergencies.

Huge thanks to our supporters for making this donation and over a 100 more to schemes across the country possible!
