The C10 is the second Leapmotor model which we have seen for a boot hoist design.

As with the B10 which we designed last month, this vehicle can take our hoist to load up to 100kg.

Another hand control design completed...this time on the new, third generation Audi Q3.

The addition of this design brings our total number of hand control designs across the Audi range to 60! With a few more new models expected to launch over the next year, and a couple of existing models still to be designed, we expect to be adding to that total in the not too distant future.

This is the second generation of Lexus NX which was launched in 2022.

We carried out a left foot accelerator design back in 2023 but four years since it's launch in 2022, we have now also designed and installed hand controls to one of the current generation.

Although limited previous requests show that we do not expect this to be the most popular vehicle we'll get enquiries about, we do now have either a hand control or a left foot accelerator available if it is your car of choice.

If I import a non-UK model of car, can you adapt it?

As long as it is a standard type car, we should be able to adapt it with one of our products. If it is a commonly imported car, we may have seen it before and completed a design. This would mean we would carry out an installation as with any standard UK vehicle. It is more likely though that we will have not seen the model before, or be likely to see it again, therefore a bespoke install would be carried out at our workshop.

We received this feedback from a customer who returned to have another hand control fitted. Over the years we have done a wide range of vehicles for them from a 1940s MG to most recently adaptating a brand new EV.

Alongside the 1700 hand control designs we currently have available for your usual cars, we have also done a wide range of other vehicles from fire engines to off-road buggies to HGVs.

Whatever you are hoping to drive, we are more than happy to assess it to check if an adaptation would be possible.

Another addition to our hand control designs for the BYD range with the completion of this installation on a Seal 6.

This now means we have hand controls available for the following BYD models:
✅ Atto3
✅ Seal 6
✅ Seal U
✅ Sealion 5

We are also due to complete the hand control design for the Sealion 7 in early September and then will hopefully be able to add others before the end of the year.

Here's a recent installation carried out Crewe on a VW Taigo.

This customer chose the adaptation combination of push/pull brake/accelerator hand control with integral indicator switch, hinged accelerator pedal and quick release steering ball.

This is a preferred combination of adaptations for many hand control drivers.

Usually our Friday feedback post comes in the form of a quotation from an email or card received.

This week a customer was so thrilled with our service she bought everyone on the team an ice cream as a thank you.

The ice creams were so well received that there was only the cone left by the time we tried to get a photograph, but we promise they were delicious!
