Vision25 We are an independent training and social care provider, who support young adults (age 17+) with disabilities To promote health and well-being.

The charity has 4 main aims:-

To promote independence through a life skills programme. To integrate their members into the community as much as possible attending various recreational activities to tackle social inclusion. For their members to experience volunteering to gain valuable work skills.

Today we made the most of the beautiful sunshine by hopping on the bus to Preston park. Everyone had a great time on the swings and enjoyed socialising with one another, as well as interacting with members of the public.

Back at vision, our cooking group got busy in the kitchen, making delicious smoothies, cheese and onion pasties and sausage rolls. Meanwhile, the up-cycle group continued their fantastic work on the dog bowl holders.
This afternoon, we had lots of fun outside in ropery street with all of our friends. We enjoyed playing basketball, giant connect 4 and a variety of other outdoor games, making the most of the lovely weather.

Well done, Amanda, on all your hard work in the shop. You have shown excellent money management skills, while working on the till, ensured that all stock was organised correctly, and approached your work placement with a positive attitude.

In the cafe, Sam demonstrated a strong work ethic, by restocking the shelf’s, watering the plants, operating the till, and using the coffee machine. He completed each task with confidence and contributed positively to the cafe environment. ❤️❤️

Today was a very sociable day, with everyone enjoying spending time with their friends.

This morning, we completed some maths work. In up-cycle, we continued repairing a chair for able assist. During textiles, we carrier bag holders and visits yes the shop to purchase fabric. In cooking, we prepared ham and cheese toasties, as well as pepperoni and cheese toasties.

This afternoon, everyone enjoyed spending time with each other. Activities included karaoke, playing games and using the computers. ❤️❤️

In the cafe, Reuben demonstrated a positive attitude and stein work ethic while carrying out a range of responsibilities. These included washing pots, cleaning tables, taking customers orders, and operating the till. He completed all tasks to a very high standard and did a fantastic job.

In the shop, Alex provided excellent customer service by serving customers, organising shelves and pricing items. He carried out his duties efficiently and contributed positively to the smooth running of the shop. ❤️❤️

A huge thank-you to the incredible young people from Stockton Riverside College who volunteered to do their community project with us! The course is from Etc King’s Trust and they have spent the last two weeks helping at Vision25. 💙

Almost a dozen from the course have dedicated their time, energy and enthusiasm to painting, maintenance, and general upkeep around our facilities. Their hard work has made a real difference, helping us improve our environment for everyone who uses Vision25.

We are so great full for their help
