AMI Eyes Polynucleotides | What does immediately after treatment really look like?

Those tiny raised bumps you can see around the eye area are the small injection sites from the treatment. They’re completely expected and usually settle relatively quickly as the product disperses.

AMI Eyes is a polynucleotide treatment designed specifically for the delicate eye area. Rather than adding volume like a dermal filler, polynucleotides work by supporting the skin’s own repair and regeneration processes.

Over a course of treatments, the aim is to improve:

• Skin quality and hydration
• Fine lines and crepey texture
• Elasticity and firmness
• The overall appearance of tired-looking under-eyes

This is a skin-regeneration treatment, not an instant filler result — the changes develop gradually as the skin responds to treatment.

The second image is taken immediately afterwards, so it’s a realistic look at what you can expect before you leave the clinic. Mild redness, swelling or small bumps at the injection points can occur and generally settle.

For best results, a course of treatments is usually recommended, followed by maintenance depending on your skin and individual goals.

DERMAPLANING… with a slight interruption 😂

Just a nice, relaxing dermaplane facial…

Until halfway through my husband starts ringing my phone and neither of us can work out where on earth the ringing is coming from. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Cue us looking around the clinic trying to find it…

Completely forgetting MY PHONE WAS RECORDING THE VIDEO. 😂😂

Anyway… back to the skincare!

Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to gently remove the build-up of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the skin.

I finished the treatment with skincare to hydrate, soothe and give the skin that gorgeous fresh-skin finish.

And no — removing the fine hair DOES NOT make it grow back thicker or darker. Dermaplaning doesn’t change the structure of the hair follicle, so your vellus hair simply grows back as it did before.

Skin tags are very common, harmless growths that can appear on areas where the skin rubs together, such as the neck, underarms, eyelids, under the breasts or groin. While they aren’t usually a medical concern, many people choose to have them removed because they catch on clothing or jewellery, become irritated, or simply affect their confidence.

At Jade Kemp Aesthetics, skin tag removal is carried out following a thorough consultation to assess whether the lesion is suitable for treatment. The procedure is quick, minimally invasive and designed to remove unwanted skin tags safely and effectively.

Treatment may be suitable if your skin tag:
• Catches on clothing or jewellery
• Becomes irritated or bleeds
• Is affecting your confidence
• Has already been assessed as a benign skin tag
