At Newcastle Dental Practice, we are committed to providing timely appointments and the highest level of care for all our patients.
Unfortunately, we have recently seen a significant increase in late cancellations and missed appointments. Every appointment that is missed or cancelled at short notice is an appointment that could have been offered to another patient in need.
To help us continue providing the best possible service, we will now be enforcing our cancellation policy across all appointments.
📅 Less than 48 hours’ notice = Deposit forfeited
🦷 Denplan patients:
If you late cancel or fail to attend your appointment, that appointment will be deducted from your annual Denplan allowance.
💳 Deposits will be taken when appointments are confirmed approximately 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
We understand that emergencies can happen and we will always do our best to support our patients wherever possible. However, repeated late cancellations and non-attendance have made this policy necessary.

Simon attended Teesside University where he received an honours degree in 2014.
Simon has a special interest in restorative dentistry and has completed postgraduate diplomas in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
Simon is very well-known for his calm and pleasant manner with patients and also his sense of humour and banter he shares with the team.
In his spare time, Simon likes to play golf, he is an avid port Vale fan and he enjoys taking his young son to football training.
