The New Moon in Ta**us is an invitation. One that arrives subtly and quietly, with no expectations or agendas, simply just gentle suggestions to explore the sensual pleasures of life that this current moment has to offer. The Ta**us influence weaved throughout this new lunar cycle, gives us the ability to embrace and experience a new perspective but to also stay grounded and compassionate throughout the process and transition. We are asked to stay humble, to stay kind but also stay open to new avenues and opportunity. Venus rules Ta**us, she governs the realms of creativity, the art of connection and devotional love blended with a sense of self surrender, but also ideas of pleasure and sensual exploration.

The New Moon is fluid, she moves discreetly and easily, no resistance, just flow. The process of surrender and release asks us to not be stubborn and rigid, when we embrace the energy under a new lunar cycle it grants us a moment of clarity and reset. The universe isn’t on a budget, don’t short change yourself when speaking our desires into reality. Be honest, be real, desire more and demand more. so let go and ask for what you want the universe isn’t on a budget.

The New Moon is the beginning of a new spiritual chapter. Here we have a blank page, an opportunity waiting to be claimed and an adventure waiting to be taken. We need some time to reflect, consider and close the previous cycle, to get clear on what we no longer works and why we are still holding on to it when it provides us with no real value. The New Moon reminds us that everything starts with an idea, a glimmer, a tiny shred of light as we take hold of it and use it to illuminate the next page of our script. The energy that the New Moon provides us with is a cosmic reset, an emotional clear out, and an unapologetic, energetic release. While situations may appear to be under control, there may be murmurs under the surface that can start to cause ripples, trust your gut and follow your intuition.

Three of Pentacles into The Knight of Cups

The Three of Pentacles is the card of conscious collaboration, creativity and connection. One that aims to create concepts and ideas of significant benefit and value. These opportunities are filled with excitement and enthusiasm, built with skill on solid foundation, they are the seeds that will serve generations to come. The Three of Pentacles introduces the ideas of dedication, commitment, skills and mentorship towards a collective goal and outcome. mastery of skills , dedication, shared goals and outcomes. We learn to come together to achieve great things, sharing the knowledge whilst we apply the best version of ourselves to the task at hand.

The Knight of Cups is an honest conversation with ourselves when considering how we translate these wishes and desires into our physical experience. We can spend all the time in the world, dreaming them into existence but what happens when we actually need to be able to create a version of these ideas that fit into our reality. This can be the stumbling block with this Knight, we spend so much time lost in the depths of our imagination, intertwined with the ideas and conflicts of the psyche, its not unusual that we don’t actually have the capacity to put these ideas into motion easily. That is the catch 22 here, we need to spend the time dreaming, creating and conversing but we must follow through with our plans and actions or they will just exist as a forever fantasy. It is comfortable to play it safe, to stay within the parameters of our comfort zones but we need to push ourself sometimes, pull ourselves away from the dreamy illusions of our imagination and ground into to the reality of the suit of pentacles.

Seven of Wands into Ten of Wands

The Seven of Wands challenges us to keep going, to keep moving especially when we have become complacent. This card acts as the metaphorical pivot moment, an act of standing firm in our truth and defending our rightful position and protecting what we’ve earned instead of surrendering. We are in a constant state of flux, life is ever flowing and when the New Moon arrives, we are encouraged to embrace it with a renewed sense of curiosity and determination.

The Ten of Wands comes into play when we are trying to balance too much and we can no longer see a clear route forward. When we set our expectations so high, and our burden so big we can become our own worst enemy as we push ourselves to the extremes. Refusing to ask for help is not the flex we think it is, the New Moon asks us to surrender and release before we collapse under the weight of our expectations.

Ace of Pentacles into Four of Pentacles

The Ace of Pentacles offers us an opportunity for growth and exciting expansion. Think big, make plans, get ready to step out of our comfort zones, trusting our gut and intuitive nudges. This ace speaks to us about fresh starts, new cycles and tangible manifestations. They symbolise new beginnings, the raw and unfiltered potential that lies within the energy of the suits. They are the gift of opportunity, of possibility and potential, never a guarantee but a gateway. The problem that accompanies the arrival of the aces is the energy can be wild and untamed. Often with no clear directions or instruction, they can often only present as fleeting moment of inspiration at the very baseline of the story.

The Four of Pentacles provides this ace with some stability and focus, keeping it grounded and in check. However, this four can sometimes create a sense of fear, a need for control and protection, this can lead us to becoming possessive and restrictive. This four has a strong desire for security and stability, we can achieve this without becoming guarded and isolated when we lean into the themes of surrender and release that this New Moon in Ta**us brings.

April’s Full Moon is deliciously weaved with Venusian energy. A sense of spiritual softness and unapologetic surrender forces us to pause and breathe for what feels like a hot minute. The Pink Moon falls under the responsible yet compassionate sign of Libra, our archetypal model of fairness and justice, the peacemaker of the zodiac. Here Libra asks us to examine our relationship with self, how we tend to our own needs and how we navigate the conflicts that we encounter.

The energy of this month’s Full Moon centres around healing, connection, harmony and balance, a time to acknowledge unanswered calls from within, how much have we been accepting just to keep the peace. This air sign questions who we are at our core, underneath all of the layer and the many hats that we wear. The energy has been stagnant lately, heavy and thick, this lunar energy is an opportunity for a reset, a much needed replenish as we gently start to move through Spring, a reminder that we can’t pour from an empty cup.

Here we find ourselves with a window for some honest self reflection, feminine wisdom and heightened intuition are a transformative force over the next few days. Sensual and sacred surrender, interwoven with a tender softness that guide us as we move towards a state on internal harmony and self governing. Libra is a cardinal sign, one that is driven to design a life that feels honest and authentic. Ruled by Venus, this air sign is often charming and diplomatic, they are intellectuals at heart, mixing pragmatism with confidence, they can often be seen as a social butterfly, usually finding comfort in partnerships rather than solitude.

Under this Full Moon in Libra, the mighty Justice reigns supreme. The embodiment of accountability and responsibility, our lady of balance and truth rules over us with dignity and respect. Her scales of justice weigh heavily on her soul, yet she is committed to her purpose with power and discipline. She guides us to lead with compassion, grace and understanding. The image of personal responsibility and accountability, she resides in a devoted state of clarity, vision and honesty. As the keeper of the karmic balance, we are called to face the consequences of our actions, to face our truth with honesty and integrity as we are judged accordingly. The card of Justice practices logic and reason, a rational mind and razor sharp awareness are our allies here as we navigate the lunar cycle.

In her domain we explore the themes of creativity, abundance, wisdom and agency. She is passionate, she is soft, yet she doesn’t entertain bu****it and drama. This sovereign knows herself and paints the walls of her temple of her softness, sexual energy and forgiveness. To worship her is a sacred commitment to self love and compassion, we tend to her needs through the acts of personal ritual and intuitive magick. The Pink Moon in the expansive sign of Libra, is our pocket of time to put our needs first. Here we are Divine, we are raw and unapologetic, a desire for a little bit of self indulgence never went a miss.

The Ace of Cups is a card that brings us a fresh and exciting perspective over our emotional landscape. This new chapter that this Ace is brimming with feeling, connection and purpose. The raw emotions that is presented within this card is struggling to stay contained, literally pouring over the side of our cup as we battle to keep it under control. The energy that underpins a Full Moon is legendary for being wild and unruly, the struggle to stop the heightened emotions bursting through the seams can be exhausting. The Ace of Cups can be an opportunity for us to explore where our own cup is leaking from, where is our energy and resources being wasted and how can we plug the leaks. It can also be our reminder that we cannot pour from an empty cup, no matter how hard we try. Sometimes we need to be selfish, we need to set boundaries and stand firm as an act of self preservation and care. We need to tend to ourselves before we can tend to others, compassion and kindness starts at the source.

The number 3 is a collective number, ruled by Jupiter, the planet of expansion and growth, often referred to as “The Great Benefic.” It is the largest planet in our solar system, often associated with luck, wisdom and good fortune. It pushes us ton experience higher levels of learning and expanding our conscious through self awareness and collective knowledge. Three is believed to be the creative child, blending the singular, independent I together with collaborative and connected pair. It becomes the Holy Trinity, the vision of mind, body and soul and the scared triangle . It reminds us of the cyclical tides of the past, present and future and themes of birth, life and death.

When we combine the energies of a singular idea or spark that embodies the number 1, weave it curiously with the duality and parallels of a 2, we instantly conceive a narrative that is as unique as it is fresh. During this eclipse portal we can use our imagination and experiences to delve deeper into our inner world through the medium of Tarot, divination and subconscious dialogue.

Learning to take all of the broken and damaged parts of ourselves, our situations and our emotions and transforming them into something powerful and meaningful is a skill, it’s an initiation for those who are brave enough to face their shadow under this Blood Moon.

The Three of Wands is a more curious Three. It talks to us about adventure and exploration, of movement and new experiences but also of vision and planning. We have a clear horizon ahead of us, an open road that is ours for the taking, the story is ours, it’s just beginning and we’re giving it main character energy without an audition.

The Empress is exactly that, unapologetic, deliciously devoted to self expression and pleasure, to creativity and sensuality, spinning a web of love, empathy and compassion for all that enter her sphere.

The Hanged Man XII (1+2=3) offers us a different perspective when we view the world upside down. Surrender and release and a time to pause and stillness, this card is governed by Neptune , the planet of mischief and illusion. Here we are asked to acknowledge the stillness and not fight against what we cannot control, resistance just creates further friction and during these next few days we need more flow. It provides us with an opportunity for self surrender, a sacred commitment towards embracing something deeper than a surface level awareness. We are asked to look beneath the surface, read between the lines and seek out the monsters under bed. The Full Moon illuminates the dark shadows in the corners, the ones that we actively ignore and try to keep from our awareness. The Hanged Man ask us to consider them differently over the next few days, no direct action, no force just contemplation.

The World XXI (2+1=3) A cycle of completion, of self sacrifice and of achievement and success. The last card in the Fool’s Journey, this card signifies a chapter coming to a close, a time for wholeness and contemplation, of reflection yet embracing vulnerability. It becomes a container to breathe, to find our footing and gather our thoughts before we embark on the next cycle of our story. Themes of harmony and inner peace dance throughout the air here, we have navigated hurdles, obstacles and challenges, yet we have learnt the lessons and reached the milestones and now we must decided how they will shape us as we move throughout our lives.

The Magician can be seen as a potential wild card when working with the energy of the number three, on the surface there is no direct link through numerology and association. However, The Magician embodies the entire idea of personal alchemy, self mastery and creativity. Ruled by Mercury, the Grandfather of knowledge, communication and planning, this magnetic energy also links us to Virgo and Gemini.

The Full Moon lands within the scope of Virgo, during Mercury Retrograde on the 3rd of the 3rd month, linking together the final pieces of the jigsaw that is The Magician. This card shows us versatility, resilience and personal power. It represents skill and wisdom, the trust and faith that we have in our ability to turn the dreams into reality. We have all of the tools at our disposal, the chapters of all four suits in front of us, reaching for the sky as we point to the ground, as above so below, The Magician is no imposter, this is not a practice run, this card means business and this Full Moons eclipse portal is exactly that.
