Hello everyone,
We’re posting to introduce you to Stokesley Pharmacy – a pharmacist-owned pharmacy due to open on the 1st of September.
We dispense NHS, private, and veterinary prescriptions like any other pharmacy; however, we do things a little differently to others. Instead of standing in long queues, we’ll come to your door, without charging a penny extra for your prescription – while being speedier than you’re probably used to.
We also hope to make communication much simpler, with plenty of ways to reach out to the team, without having to wait in a long telephone queue.
How We Work:
1: To sign up to our prescription services, please either call us (or WhatsApp us) on 01642 434878, send us a private message here on Facebook, email us at [email protected], or sign up at www.stokesleypharmacy.co.uk.
We’ll need the following details:
Name
Date of Birth
Address
Mobile/landline – In case we have a quick question about your prescription.
2: Once your NHS prescription comes to us, we’ll text you the delivery date. If this isn’t suitable, you’ll be free to contact us to request a delivery date that works a little better, because flexibility is important to us.
3: Your NHS prescription will be delivered to your home address, or an alternative of your choice, such as a workplace. If you’re not going to be in, we’ll be happy to post the medication through your letterbox, leave it in a safe place, or leave it with a neighbour of your choice – as long as we have your prior permission.
Please note: As a Distance Selling Pharmacy, we can’t allow the collection of medications from our premises – sorry.
Registration Now Open
While you’re free to register with us online at any time, our phone lines will open from the 28th of August, ready to answer your questions, give you more information on how we work, and register you, if you’d prefer. From there, prescriptions will start to be issued from the 1st of September onwards.
If you have a neighbour who would benefit from our home delivery service – perhaps due to limited mobility or a lack of transportation – but they’re used to brick-and-mortar pharmacies, we’d be more than happy to get them set up over the phone on 01642 434878. It’s surprisingly quick!
