This is not a goodbye - just a change of direction.

As some of you may know, I have been closed for a while now due to me not being well, and the reason I have not been very well is actually because I am expecting a baby girl🩷🍼

Due to me having less time and needing more flexibility, I have decided to close the studio for body piercings.

However, I will be re-opening as a jewellery shop instead.

This means I can work from home, delivering to anyone who purchases jewellery nearby or posting to people further away. I will also have some jewellery for sale inside Shear Genius.

Thank you everyone that has supported me since I opened in 2019. I hope you will continue with me in this new chapter.

Piercing guns can not be fully sterilized which means blood and bodily fluids can be passed on from previous clients. You can contract various bloodborne diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, tetanus and HIV from piercing guns.
Piercing guns use blunt force which causes excessive swelling, bruising, scarring, a high risk of embedding and a longer healing time.
Piercing guns use butterfly back studs which trap bacteria and dirt making it a much higher risk of infection especially for young children and people with autoimmune disorders.
