Why do we weigh daily? 🤔⚖️

Because one weigh-in doesn’t tell the whole story.

Your weight can fluctuate day to day due to hydration, hormones, salt intake, stress, sleep, digestion, and exercise. That’s completely normal!

By weighing daily, we stop focusing on one random number and start looking at the overall trend. 📈

Think of it like checking the weather. One rainy day doesn’t mean summer is over, and one higher weigh-in doesn’t mean you’re gaining fat.

Daily weighing helps:
✅ Remove emotion from the scale
✅ Spot trends earlier
✅ Keep you accountable
✅ Build awareness of how your body responds to food, exercise, and lifestyle

Remember: the goal isn’t to chase a lower number every day. The goal is to understand your body better and focus on long-term progress.

Trust the trend, not the daily fluctuation. 💚

The sunshine is finally here… but don’t let the warm weather derail your health goals! 🌡️💚

A few simple swaps can help you stay energised, hydrated and feeling your best this week:

💧 Start your day with a big glass of water
🍉 Choose high-water-content snacks like watermelon, strawberries, cucumber, melon and oranges to help boost hydration
🥚 Pair fruit with a source of protein to help balance blood sugar and keep you fuller for longer – think Greek yogurt & berries, apple & nuts, cottage cheese & pineapple, or a protein shake alongside your fruit
🥗 Choose lighter meals packed with protein and colourful veggies
🔥 Fire up the BBQ with lean meats, fish and plenty of grilled vegetables
🥤 Watch out for sugary drinks and “holiday mode” calories that quickly add up
🚶‍♀️ Move early morning or later evening when it’s cooler

Remember: dehydration can often feel like hunger, tiredness or cravings!

This week, focus on:

A huge congratulations on an incredible British Championships weekend!

Over the last few months we’ve focused on improving body composition, maintaining muscle, fuelling training properly, and supporting recovery. The result? Four personal best times, including one PB by an amazing 4 seconds.

This is why at Daily Boost we don’t just help people lose weight. We help people improve their body composition, energy, strength and performance. For athletes, reducing excess body fat while maintaining lean muscle can improve efficiency, power-to-weight ratio and endurance, helping them get more from the hard work they’re already putting into training.

The hard work was all yours, and it was fantastic to see it pay off in the ‘big’ pool! 🏊‍♀️💚❤️

🚨 You can’t out-train a poor diet 🚨

How you look and feel is largely driven by your nutrition.

The number of people who join a gym to lose weight but never change their eating habits is staggering.

Having both worked in the health and fitness industry for over 20 years, Neil and I have seen it time and time again. People train hard, show up consistently, and genuinely want results—but without addressing their nutrition, they often end up frustrated by the lack of progress.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

Going to the gym is one of the best things you can do for your health. 💪

It improves strength, fitness, mobility, bone health, mental wellbeing, confidence, and longevity.

But if your goal is weight loss or body fat reduction, exercise alone is rarely enough.

Spending hours in the gym while ignoring your nutrition is like trying to fill a bath without putting the plug in.

That’s exactly why Neil and I created Daily Boost.

We saw a gap between my PT clients and the members at Neil’s longevity studio.

People were exercising regularly but weren’t getting the results they wanted because nobody was helping them with the nutrition piece.

So we created a place where members get the complete package:

✅ Healthy breakfast and hydration
✅ Simple strategies that fit real life

The result?

Our members are losing an average of 6kg and 5% body fat in less than 6 months.

I always tell people not to believe everything they see on social media. Remember, most posts are opinions, and many people are selling something—whether that’s a product, a coaching service, clicks, or attention.

Instead of making decisions based on a viral post, ask yourself:

• Does this person actually use the product?
• Are they getting results that I would like to achieve?
• Do they have experience or qualifications in nutrition, health, or fitness?
• Is there science and research supporting what they’re saying?
• Are there real customers getting real results?

The reality is that no product is perfect, and healthy skepticism is important. But it’s also important not to dismiss something simply because someone on social media says it’s bad.

Look at the evidence. Look at the results. Look at the people using it successfully.
