✨ Releasing restrictions through the hindquarters using gentle myofascial techniques.

Today I worked with the midline section of the superficial gluteal, biceps femoris, and semitendinosus muscles, helping to reduce fascial tension, improve mobility, and encourage better movement patterns.

When fascia and muscle tissue can move freely, horses often show improved comfort, flexibility, and performance. πŸ΄πŸ’š

✨ Cold Laser Therapy for Dogs ✨

Cold laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that helps support the body's natural healing processes. It can help reduce inflammation, ease discomfort, improve circulation, and promote tissue repair, making it beneficial for dogs recovering from injury, surgery, arthritis, or muscular tension.

Many dogs find treatments relaxing and enjoy the warmth and calm that comes with each session. πŸΎπŸ’š

Senior dogs can benefit beautifully from gentle Craniosacral Therapy 🐾✨

As our dogs age, they can develop stiffness, tension, compensation patterns and reduced mobility throughout the body. Canine CST uses a gentle, hands-on approach to help release restrictions within the fascia and nervous system, encouraging relaxation, comfort and improved wellbeing.

Many older dogs become deeply relaxed during treatment, often showing releases through sighing, stretching, softening through the body and improved ease of movement afterwards πŸ’›

Perfect to support:
β€’ Stiffness and mobility issues
β€’ Arthritis support alongside veterinary care
β€’ Recovery from old injuries
β€’ Nervous system regulation
β€’ General comfort and quality of life in senior dogs

Always working at your dog’s pace 🐢✨

The poll and upper cervical area, especially around C2/C3 and the nuchal ligament, can hold a huge amount of tension and compensation in horses. Through Equine Craniosacral Therapy, gentle releases in this area can help soften fascial restrictions, improve mobility through the neck, and encourage the nervous system to shift out of stress patterns.

Restrictions here can sometimes contribute to stiffness, resistance in bend, difficulty softening through the topline, head tilting, sensitivity around the ears or poll, and overall tension throughout the body.

By working with the fascia, craniosacral rhythm, and surrounding soft tissue, the horse is able to release deeply in its own time β€” often showing signs such as yawning, licking, chewing, blinking, lowering the head, or deep sighs during treatment.

Every horse releases differently, but restoring movement and softness through the poll and nuchal ligament can have a profound effect on the whole body. ✨🐴

Cold laser therapy, also called low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate healing in tissues without producing heat. It is commonly used in horses for muscle soreness, tendon and ligament injuries, arthritis, back pain, wounds, bruising and general rehabilitation.

The light energy is thought to increase cellular energy production (ATP), improve circulation, reduce inflammation and encourage tissue repair. Many practitioners also find it helpful for releasing tight fascia and muscles, especially around the back, shoulders, pelvis and poll area.

Common areas treated in horses include:

Tendons and ligaments
Sacroiliac and pelvic regions
Shoulders and back muscles
Arthritic joints
Poll and neck tension
Wounds and post-surgical healing
Hoof abscesses and bruising
Trigger points and acupressure points

Many horses relax during treatment, often lowering their head, softening through the eye or even becoming sleepy. Lancing Equestrian
