We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the incredibly talented Mark Dyer to the clinic for a joint training and CPD session focusing on Joint Injections and advanced clinical practice.

Mark is not only a long-standing friend and respected colleague, but also one of the most knowledgeable and naturally gifted therapists we know. The kind of practitioner who somehow manages to make complex clinical discussions both educational… and entertaining all at the same time! 😄

Today was all about sharing knowledge, refining techniques, discussing clinical reasoning and continuing to develop within our professional scope of practice — because in healthcare and aesthetics, learning never stops.

At Mariko Clinic, all mole and skin tag removal procedures are carried out by Mr Ian Felix using carefully selected minor surgical techniques, with patient comfort, safety and cosmetic outcome at the heart of every treatment.

Following a detailed consultation, the area is anaesthetised using local anaesthetic before the procedure begins, meaning treatment is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Depending on the type, size and position of the lesion, removal techniques may include careful shave excision or minor surgical removal to achieve the most appropriate cosmetic result.

Following treatment:
✔️ The area is cleaned and professionally dressed
✔️ Spare dressings are provided to take home🏡
✔️ Full written and verbal aftercare advice is given
✔️ Access to our team via chat 24/7 for support and reassurance
✔️ If stitches are required, these are normally removed approximately 10 days following the procedure

Healing times vary from person to person, however in many cases, after the initial healing period and over the following weeks, there may be little to no visible sign of where the procedure took place.

At Mariko Clinic we always prioritise a clinical, ethical and patient-led approach, selecting the treatment method most appropriate for both healing and cosmetic outcome.

DESO BODY – FAT DISSOLVING TREATMENT

Stubborn pockets of fat that won’t shift with diet or exercise can be incredibly frustrating… and this is exactly where DESO Body comes in.
