It's bloomin' flower time again! Enjoyed looking at the amazing display of plants available at Dobbies Garden Centre this afternoon.

To be honest we could all have come away a lot poorer, given the chance, there was do much you choose from! We did buy some dahlia's that were requested by residents for their garden this year, and those with me today, advised on colours and the best quality plants to purchase. Oh and we had a sneaky cuppa and a scone too!

Getting the hands in the compost today! Residents chose Marigolds, Cosmos, Livingstone daisies, Alsyum, Snapdragons and Asters. All seeds are sown and watered, and we eagerly await a bit of green over the next couple of days.

We have also gained a young pigeon who has taken up residence in our inner courtyard. Mum came to visit today and was feeding him. I think the ducks have been talking about how well we feed them!! 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛

Moving day success! We are putting our faith on mother nature to take care of our little quackers.

Meet 'Bumble' and 'Bee' two whippet puppies owned by a family member. They brought the dogs, who are four months old today, in to see their mum this afternoon.

Of course many of us had to have cuddles, how could we resist!

Last week we recalled memories of desserts and the residents said they'd not had banana splits for years!
🍌🍨
So mid afternoon today it was banana split time! With a choice of ice cream flavours, squirty cream, (gotta be done!)
, all topped with sauce, nuts and sugar strands. We can't wait to do it again! 😋😋😋
