I have a really complicated relationship with Scotland now. Last year spending the summer at the hospice with my sister has left me associating it with grief and trauma. I drove so many miles back and forth to Dumfries that the thought of driving there makes me feel sick.
Weekends like this, making new joyful memories with my oldest friends really helps ❤️
