🌳 My Forest Bathing training has shown me the huge, and scientifically proven, benefits of spending time in nature on our emotional and physical wellbeing.

🐕 I am now offering treatments for dogs at The Tetbury Pet Shop on Tuesday afternoons.

🐕 I will be working in doggy clients around my other clients so please contact me directly if you want to see me there.

There are stairs upto the the treatment room so please make sure your dog is able to go up and down easily

There are lots of scrummy healthy treats and goodies on the ground floor for you to spoil your dogs after their sessions!

I will be offering

🐶 Canine Bowen therapy
🐶 Reiki
🐶 Merishia massage

I am happy to treat dogs of all shapes, sizes amd backgrounds, but do have a particular interest in working with older dogs, those with osteoarthritis, cognitive decline and other age related issues

I am also happy to treat working and competition dogs - Bowen is great for maintenance, helping keep dogs in tip top condition for their work, enhancing performance and aiding recovery rates

🌹Yesterday I treated a dog who has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer in a hindleg.

A diagnosis like this is a huge shock to any owner and whilst Reiki is a wonderful therapy to offer a dog with cancer , it is also reassuring to the owner that they are offering some support to their dog, which inevitably has a positive impact on them as well.

🌹 I gave the dog a full body Reiki treatment, then used my clear quartz pendulum crystal to do an energy clearance through his whole body.

He slept throughout his whole treatment, really soaking up the healing energy.

🌹 Reiki is available in NHS trusts in many cancer and other palliative care centres and has been shown to offer emotional and physical support to those receiving it.

🌹 There are no contraindications with Reiki which makes it safe alongside any other Veterinary treatments.

🐶 The dogs gluteal muscles are responsible for extending and moving the hip joint outwards from the body.

🐶 These muscles help your dog c**k it's leg to p*e!

🐶 If your male dog suddenly squats to p*e rather than c**k his leg, it may be a sign that he has tension, restriction or pain in his hips and gluteal muscles.

🤷‍♀️ Did you know that dogs don't have a gluteus maximus? It's actually also known as the human muscle as it helps us humans maintain our upward stance!

Those who know me as a Canine Bowen therapist will know that I have a particular interest and passion for treating older/senior dogs 🐕

Many dogs over the age of 8 start to slow down as they develop joint and mobility issues.....and many are written off as "just being old, slowing down". But there is a lot we can do to support your dogs as they age.

I am able to offer the following therapies ~
🐕Canine Bowen therapy
🐕 Merishia massage
🐕 Reiki

✨️Bowen will always be my "go to" therapy as I always see great results, but I often integrate Reiki into a session as it seems to enhance the treatment and results I see.

I will also be able to offer additional advice and tips to help make your dog more comfortable between sessions including;
