Gaia Healing - Helping you Heal Marisa is a Holistic Therapist, Specialising as a Sound Therapist & Gong Master. Marisa has been working as a Sound Therapist since 2017.

Marisa also is a Womb Health Massage Practitioner and Holistic Massage Practitioner. Sound healing is beneficial for the body, mind and spirit. Research has shown that when sound is transmitted to a person using their own voice, the voice of others, music, instruments etc, it can reduce stress, encourage relaxation, promote wellness and healing. he correct vibration to the body, mind and spirit when it is vibrating out of harmony. Marisa offers Gong sound immersions both privately and in group settings. She also offers Shamanic Healing using various techniques. Marisa also offers Womb and Fertility massage, a non invasive abdominal and sacral therapeutic massage which is incredibly nurturing and healing. Womb and Fertility massage (WFM) is a blend of different holistic modalities, it’s aim is to reconnect the woman with her body, her womb and her sexuality. It also restores balance and flow to the reproductive, digestive & sacral areas of the body. Marisa is compassionate, empathetic, a highly intuitive person and brings her own healing experiences and knowledge into her sessions.

Today I received truly wonderful feedback about Sunday’s gong journey. Among the many personal (and wonderful) things the attendee said, the individual reported it to be “truly life changing and transformative”. She was also very complimentary on how I hold the space and my own nature.

This feedback came at a time where I am feeling disheartened.

This year has been a difficult year for my holistic therapy, and the first year I have not had my private practice. Recently I have contemplated giving it up entirely after 10 years. But when I receive feedback like this it inspires me to keep going, no matter how hard it gets.

Personally, I came to sound healing at a time when I was looking for something to help me with my own mental and physical health.

I was dealing with deep grief, anxiety, the aftermath of postpartum depression and marital issues.
Sound healing helped me shed the weight of many emotions and over the years, I came to have a better understanding of myself, my life experiences and how to cope in this ever changing world.

Whilst training, I thought, if I could just help one person, it would be worth it all.
I know many people have said how much I’ve helped them, whether through womb massage or sound therapy. But the deepest transformation has come from sound therapy.

If firmly believe that when the person is ready to open themselves to the possibility of transforming, then that’s when the shift happens.

I’m so very pleased for this individual, and to know that my sessions have helped someone.
