I am a fully qualified and accreditated Clinical Hypnotherapist. For the past 30 years I have worked within the Voluntary Sector developing and managing services for people with the diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome. I have a wealth of experience and knowledge about the complexities of supporting and providing services for vulnerable people and their Carer’s. One of the reasons that I originally trai

ned as a Hypnotherapist was to offer support to the families experiencing such difficulties. I trained at the Prestigious Clifton Practice, a recognised Centre of Excellence for Solution focused Hypnotherapy. I hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma, which is considered the ‘Gold Standard’ in Hypnotherapy Training. I fully appreciate how Life can at times cause us extreme Stress and Anxiety. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a Powerful and Positive Tool to help people of All Ages and All Walks of Life bring about Exciting and Positive Changes to their Lives.

It’s that time of year again, lots of young people experiencing all kinds of emotions due to exams.
It’s so important to ensure their Brains are being refuelled and supported.

Try to encourage time to recharge the batteries, the brain can only focus for so long, it requires natural daylight, physical movement, social interaction and some positive reflection.
Building all of these into the revision timetable will aid memory and a sense of control and relative calmness.

When the world around you feels like a cliffs edge, especially with the uncertainty surrounding us, surely you can find a space that calms your mind and makes you feel safe if only for a moment.
It might sound too simple and a bit woo woo but there’s science behind how your gorgeous mind will benefit.

Sometimes we need to just be there for someone, no judgement, no ‘what you need do is’! Just listen and support.

Human connection is an important part of managing the world around us. Not the connections that cause us to feel pain but those that can just be there and give us a safe space to just be.

What would life be like if you said yes I can more than saying I can’t.
We often find every reason imaginable as to why we can’t, so if the brain constantly hears this then why oh why would it want to support you in believing you can.

Retraining a thought process takes time but believe me it’s so worth the effort.

So take those small steps and embrace the reward of I CAN.
