The 2026 Victims’ Survey is now open — and your voice could help shape how victims are supported across England and Wales.

Led by Claire Waxman OBE, the independent Victims’ Commissioner for England and Wales, this is the only national survey that gathers insight directly from victims of crime at all stages of the justice process.

Your experiences — whether you reported the crime or not — can help highlight what’s working, what needs to change, and improve outcomes for others.

👤 Open to anyone aged 16+ who has experienced crime since January 2021

This year, the survey is being delivered in partnership with TONIC to ensure as many voices as possible are heard.

April is PMDD Awareness Month. PMDD is a severe form of premenstrual syndrome that can have a serious impact on your mental health during the week or two before your period.

It causes a range of emotional and physical symptoms including:

• Mood swings
• Feeling upset or tearful.
• Lack of energy
• Less interest in activities you normally enjoy
• Feeling hopeless
• Feeling angry or irritable
• Coming into conflict with people around you
• Feeling anxious, tense or on edge
• Feeling overwhelmed or out of control
• Difficulty concentrating
• Suicidal thoughts

Our thoughts are with all of you experiencing PMDD 💙

If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, it's a mental health emergency and you should call 999 or go to the nearest A&E immediately.
