How many times do I have to explain….
MS Relapse vs Pseudo-Relapse… what’s the difference?
In Multiple Sclerosis, a relapse means new or worsening symptoms that last at least 24 hours…
and often much longer—days, weeks, sometimes more.
A pseudo-relapse is different…
it’s a temporary flare of old symptoms.
These can be triggered by things like heat, stress, or infection…
and usually settle once the trigger is gone.
