Hi fans We are relocating our weekly group meeting venue from the 7th September, we will run our weely Support group from, ST Marys & ST Peters which is situated on the junction of Sunningdale and Springwell road .Oppisite Broadway Medical practice , there is a number 23 stagecoach bus that stops right outside the church ,or there is buses onto Durham road Lidl that are a 5 minute walk ,there is parking also in the church grounds .We,d like to say a big thanks to Karen Wood and Pallion Action Group for accomodating our group for the past 2 years ,and a Big thankyou to st Peters & St marys for making us feel so welcome yesterday,.If you have any questions please get in touch via messenger or the contact details on the page .we are here to help .Group times have not changed they are still Mondays 12pm till 2pm hope to see our current members here as well as our new members accsessing the group in september please share t Sunderland Grieving Parents Support

What a lovley night at our soundbath last night at roker .,we were getting a lot of attention from passers.by and some odd looks and a few comments that we laughed about 😆 ,but we all got a lot from it ❤️, cosy ,,campfire candle light ,and Rememberance we even had a few laughs and music from MC Rodgers ❤️❤️.Thankyou to Devon Ross ❤️.Tommy💙 for our reading and of course all of our lovley group members .❤️💚💙

Hi fans if youre joining us on thursday 6th august for our sea, sand ,soundbath, and sunset ,there maybe a slight chance of light rain ,but temperature looks good ,light but warm comfortable clothing will be best,and either a yoga mat ,blanket ,pillow, or camping chair for your comfort ,to get the best of the relaxation and mindfull experience ,we hope to get started between 6.45pm and 7pm for an hour relaxation and soundbath , campfire and candlelighting to follow ,hot drinks provided ,hope you can join us Sunderland Grieving Parents Support

As you may be aware from a previous post ,after 8 years of Supporting parents in Sunderland and surrounding areas , we will hold our final group in early july 27, its been highly emotional but rewarding in a way to be able to help so many of our parents through their grief journey, and be able to see how much strength and determination they gained from being part of our very special group where our parents have a beautiful strong bond, and friends and support for life ,until then we still have funding for Trauma therepy and grief counciling alongside our weekly meetings no waaiting lists to join just contact us and we can arrange this for you .i do ask 1 favour from our followers ,please help us get as many parents who are struggling with the devastating inpact of losing a child ,by sharing and tagging our page and group details with as many people as possible ,please like and follow the page share this and tag and invite friends .please comment done below and someone will be picked out to recieve a £60 Voucher for Saps therepies which can be used for any of the treatments listed below .Thanks for your support over the last 8 years from SGPS and our lovley group members and volunteers ❤️🩷💛🧡💙💚

We are delighted to celebrate Victoria's new role as Strategy and Partnership Lead at Sunderland VSA.
Victoria joined Sunderland VSA 18 months ago as a Development Worker, supporting voluntary and community organisations to strengthen their governance, review policies, complete organisational health checks, and build the foundations needed to thrive and grow.
With over 35 years of experience in the voluntary sector, Victoria has dedicated her career to supporting organisations that make a difference to the lives of vulnerable members of our communities. Her knowledge, passion, and commitment to the sector have already made a significant impact across Sunderland.
As she steps into her new role, Victoria is excited about the opportunities ahead working within the National Neighbourhood Health Programme strengthen partnerships between the voluntary sector and statutory organisations, ensuring that community voices are heard and that organisations can work together more effectively to create positive change.
Victoria said: "I am incredibly proud to take on the role of Strategy and Partnership Lead. NNHIP is presenting us all with an opportunity to make a difference, I look forward to building stronger relationships across sectors, creating new opportunities for collaboration, and helping to ensure that together we can make a lasting positive impact on communities across Sunderland."
