Please make sure you wear SPF30 or even better SPF50 everyday day on all exposed areas of skin. Even if it’s miserable and raining outside it can still cause damage which you may not notice right away.

I’m a Nurse working in a wound clinic and we get a lot of patients coming in who have had lesions removed from their face, necks, ears & heads etc….

What astonishes me is when I mention SPF and ask if they are applying it everyday or advise to make sure they are still applying it, with majority of gem they get a blank look on their face and ask what it is.

Considering they have just had a biopsy or leision removal this is very concerning.

Please don’t let it get to that stage!
