IMPORTANT NOTICE 🥰

The thing we all hate to talk about 🙈 money 💴

So, firstly, I absolutely love what I do and if we didn’t have to work for money and we were paid to live and work was optional, I would still do what I do, I genuinely love helping you all with your voices that much.

However…

Unfortunately that is not how it works and this is my income and livelihood, what this means is, when someone takes up a slot, doesn’t pay on time and then cancels, that would essentially be like your employer chopping off some of your payment it has a massive impact.

Small businesses cost a lot to run too, so that is a factor before I could even take a wage.

Because of this, to protect the centre and my income, there is a cancellation policy in place and payments must be made upon booking to secure your appointment.

POLICY:
Payment must be made upon booking to confirm appointment
Bookings are non refundable
Cancellations must be made with 48 hours notice to amend appointments
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours cannot be rescheduled
Please reschedule your appointment when you cancel and it is your responsibility to do so
Appointments are not confirmed without payments and will only be held for 24 hours until released for others to book (booking by email)

With that said, please email and I will help you out with anything you may need!

BOOKINGS ARE OPEN🚨

Please don’t let the lack of website put you off! I am taking bookings on a flexible basis throughout august, after my first month back in July and fitting in a years worth of patient clients, I can now work more flexibly to get you in for your appointments.

The link will be up in the bio this week for you all, as well as accepting bookings via email for this month, before it changes to bookings via link only from September.

Please note that bookings are not final until payment is made, thanks for your understanding 🫶

As you may have seen yesterday, the centre is working on flexible hours, during this time, the website will be down while I work on opening hours and other info to be inputted ready for the site to go live again when everything is finalised and made to suit you🤩

SOMETHING NEW ✨

Flexible opening hours!

The most important thing at the centre is the clients, amd making you all feel comfortable, relaxed and most importantly at ease.

The biggest part of the relaunch is creating a centre that is easy for you to all access, book in with and attend. One thing I’ve been stuck on is opening hours…

As much as I would love to offer services one day a week, that simply isn’t possible as a one woman band running the company and centre single handedly.

So with that in mind, before I set our opening hours, I wanted to trial out what hours really do work for YOU!

Because the centre is appointment only, not a drop in or a shop front, I’m able to have more flexibility around closing one day and opening another instead of, as no one will show up, disappointed to see we’re closed.

I have outlined the closing dates for the first two weeks of august, please feel free to email and request any other time and if it isn’t already booked, I’ll book you in!

Please note, bookings are only final once payment has been made and confirmed 🤍

A little update from me, I have been working through all emails and enquiries, sending out my appointments, in order of those who enquired first for a booking. There has been no availability left for me to put on a link after this, and I am still working through enquiries between appointments.

If you have not had an email back from me by Friday, please give me a gentle nudge in case it has been lost. If you have DM’d on Instagram or Facebook, please be aware the inbox is not monitored, please do email me.

The booking link will be put up for august and beyond appointments as soon as I have fit everyone in for July as promised.

I would like to thank you all for your patience. Not long now for the website relaunch, where you will also be able to book your appointment with just a few clicks.

Please note that from August 1st, all bookings must be made via the booking link, please still feel free to email with any questions or queries and I will be more than happy to assist, and I can email you the link when you’ve had your enquiry dealt with🤍

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS 🤗

The clinic is reopening for brand new clients 4 weeks today! 🤩

The booking link will be back in the link in bio in July and via website as soon as the website is back up and running after its glow up ✨

For the week commencing 6th July, I am accepting bookings via emails with a deposit NOW! Anyone on the waitlist from April will be allocated their chosen session first then anyone else who emails can book on a first come first serve basis before the booking link goes live 🤩

Meet Giorgia Mel 🤍

I think we’re overdue a hello from me by now 👋

Here are some photos I had taken when I first opened the first clinic in 2022 (it’s maybe time for some new ones 🤭)

Without further a do, here is the face behind The Voice Centre North East. I’m Giorgia Mel, the founder and director of The Voice Centre. I’m also the founder and principal of Singing Performance School, which was previously known as Music & Arts For Singing Stars.

Here’s a bit about my background:
My degree is actually in Roots and Popular music 🎶
All my further training was self funded and done privately including my singing teacher training, vocal massage training, vocal health, and vocal acupuncture💆‍♀️
Pre maternity I was obsessed with CPD and was always doing a course, I have missed that so much and cannot wait to do more courses upon my return in July and get stuck right back in! 🤓📚
I actually have a qualification in counselling skills too, as I went back to college during my foundation degree (yes I’m a little bit crazy I told you I was obsessed!) 🤩

Some fun facts about me:
I come from a family of builders and a, quite handy at a DIY, in fact my first ever studio was completely done up by me and my husband with the help of builder grandad, but I wanted to do as much as I could myself so I knew it was genuinely my heart and soul into it, we joked that the studio was held together with love polly filler 😂

I used to want to be a vet because of how much I love animals and have debated doing extra training to do myofascial release for race course horses as well as just for you lovely lot🏇

As well as debating vetinary I had wanted to be a laryngologist! But honestly? I HATE exams, however I work excellent under pressure so I might have been a great surgeon, who knows 🤷‍♀️

If I got the chance to retrain or venture out now, I think I would want to go into genetics and open a centre for EDS🦓

But for now, you’ll find me here, pouring everything I have into the centre to help you all with your vocal needs, as I work hard behind the scenes to expand services and branch out 😉
