Just a quick post to promote a local event and gain some support. I've been to a few of these evenings and it's been great: skilled musicians, beautiful venue and a relaxed atmosphere.

The next jazz night is this Friday (17th) and it'll be great to see the place full of people enjoying live music.

Tried Shinob1 (at the back of Jacky Whites Market) for the first time yesterday. Great guy running it, fantastic food! I got talking to the owner and he was a big advocate of supporting local businesses so I thought I'd mention his place here. Give the place a try if you're in town, much better than the franchised noodle place that's just opened in The Bridges.
