Could you spot the signs of melanoma?
Melanoma is the most serious form of skin cancer and can develop from an existing mole or appear as a new mark on the skin.
One of the most important things you can do is know what’s normal for your skin and pay attention to changes.
Things to look out for:
• A mole that’s becoming uneven or asymmetrical
• Irregular or blurred borders
• Changes in colour
• An increase in size
• A mole that’s evolving over time
• Itching, bleeding or crusting
• Anything that simply doesn’t look right
The good news is that early detection can make a huge difference.
At TLC Aesthetics, I offer Map My Mole, a professional mole-mapping service designed to assess and monitor moles and skin lesions, giving you peace of mind and helping identify anything that may need further investigation.
I also offer CryoPen treatment for suitable benign skin lesions, skin tags and other common skin concerns following assessment.
If you have a mole or skin lesion you’re concerned about, don’t ignore it.
