🚴‍♂️ Happy World Bicycle Day!

People often ask why I enjoy cycling so much.

For me, it's the sense of achievement that comes from pushing yourself further than you thought possible. It's being out in the fresh air, seeing new places, and switching off from the day-to-day.

Some of my best memories have come from cycling challenges, sharing the miles, the laughs, and the tough moments with other people all working towards the same goal.

This year I'll be taking on my next challenge, cycling from Prague to Poland 🇨🇿➡️🇵🇱, and I can't wait.

If you've ever thought about giving cycling a go, do it. You don't need to ride hundreds of miles. Just get out, enjoy the journey, and see where it takes you.

Here's to more adventures, more memories, and plenty of miles ahead!

Last month was a lovely reminder that wellbeing isn't always about workouts, routines or chasing goals. Sometimes it's as simple as getting outdoors, moving your body, having a chat and taking a little time for yourself 💛

Creating opportunities for connection, movement and supporting wellbeing in different ways is such an important part of what WEARfit is about, so it was really special to see at the Wellness Walk.

Looking ahead, I'm getting excited (and a little nervous!) for my biggest charity cycling challenge yet 🚴🏼‍♀️ Not long to go now!

🚴🏼‍♀️ 3 weeks to go 🚴🏼‍♀️

I can’t believe that 3 weeks today I’ll be in Prague starting my longest bike ride to date!!

Today has been my longest training ride for this years charity bike ride, 72.44 miles. It felt good, lovely route but it’s not as long as Day 1!!

Day 1 - 93 miles / 2148 ft elevation
Day 2 - 82 miles / 5914 ft elevation
Day 3 - 100 miles / 4096 ft elevation
Day 4 - 58 miles / 1353 ft elevation

This week I’ve logged 128 miles and 4,724ft elevation over 3 days 🚴🏼‍♀️ next week I’ll be using my hybrid as my road bike is getting backed off ready to be shipped to Prague!!

Wednesday Wellbeing: Food & Mood 💛🥗

What we eat doesn’t just affect our physical health, it can affect our energy, concentration, stress levels and even how we cope with everyday life.

I know from experience that when life gets busy, eating well is often one of the first things to slip. Skipped meals, grabbing whatever’s quickest, relying on caffeine to get through the day…

But sometimes feeling low on energy, overwhelmed or just not quite yourself can be linked to how well you’re nourishing your body too.

Eating well isn’t about perfection or strict rules. It’s about giving your body and mind the support they need.

Small changes can make a big difference 💛
