This week marks 1 year since I made this beautiful room the full time home of LUMA Skin Therapies 🤍

I’m so grateful to every client who has walked through my door, trusted me with their skin and wellbeing, recommended me, returned and supported my little business. You’ve allowed me to continue growing, learning and creating a space where you can truly slow down, reset and feel cared for.

The power of face massage combined with genuinely loving what you do ✨ There’s something so special about helping someone leave the treatment room feeling better than when they walked in.

I’m now out of the treatment room until 1st September, making the most of the last of the summer with my girl before she heads off to high school 🥹🤍

I’ll also be using a little of the time to finally catch up on some admin… including adding my new LUMA Lymphatic Facial to the booking system next week! 🤗

It’s only taken me 6 months 🫣😂 But I promise it’s been worth the wait.

**BODY SCULPTING UPDATE** After much thought I have made the decision to step away from offering Maderotherapy treatments.

This decision has been influenced by a shoulder injury and the volume of clients I am fortunate to be treating. Unfortunately the physical demands of Maderotherapy are not sustainable at the moment. It has also prompted me to reflect on the treatments I offer and the misinformation out there regarding this treatment.

Be mindful that one of the biggest misconceptions surrounding Maderotherapy is that it is a lymphatic drainage treatment. While the techniques may encourage movement within the tissues, Maderotherapy is not the same as Manual Lymphatic Drainage. MLD is a specialised therapy that supports the lymphatic system through precise, GENTLE and clinically recognised techniques.

As my practice continues to evolve I am choosing to focus on treatments that align with my holistic approach to skin health, wellbeing and nervous system regulation. This includes advanced facial therapies, reflexology and my upcoming LUMA Lymphatic Facial.
