So in love with Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. What a brilliant time at the fringe festival. So many great shows and I am in awe of all the performers. We don’t always see what goes on behind the scenes, how they’re constantly facing their fears, their doubts, their vulnerabilities. We just see the end show and I know it takes so much hard work and courage to get there. It’s been so inspiring and such a wonderful atmosphere. Loved it. Back there again later in the week, so let me know if you have any more recommendations! 🎭

I used to feel exhausted by the idea that I had to constantly “fix myself.” As if one day I’d finally arrive at this perfectly healed place where I was always happy, calm, confident and at peace.
But life doesn’t really work like that.

We’re more like nature- Always evolving, growing, shedding old skins.
Always being invited into the next version of ourselves.

And when we resist that, which I personally love to do haha, we can feel it. The tension, stagnation, overthinking, repeating of old patterns. Sound familiar?
I don’t believe coaching is about fixing you.
I believe it’s about helping you reconnect.
💫To your true self.
⚡️To your inner spark.
💜To your courage.
☀️To your aliveness.
To the part of you that was never broken.
You don’t need to fix your past before you begin. You don’t need to become a perfect version of yourself before you take the next step.
Maybe the question isn’t:
“How do I fix myself?”
Maybe it’s:
“What part of me is ready to come back to life?”

⚡️If this speaks to something in you, message me “SPARK” and I’ll send you the details for a free discovery call to get you started.

8 years cancer free! 🎊 8 years since I got the call to say it had all gone. It’s a day I will never forget and a day I promised myself I would always celebrate. I know how quickly we can take our time and health for granted and how easily we forget how precious life is. This day and experience will always humble me and remind me to appreciate the simple things in life. For all the sh*tty moments that cancer brought to my life, it feels good to be alive. Today was nicely timed with sharing my story with Lymphoma Matters Lymphoma Action . Lots of love and strength to my friends facing their journeys xx

Being told I couldn’t have my own children was heartbreaking. I didn’t know how I was going to get through it or how I would find my way.

I’d been given this second chance at life after cancer and then I felt guilty for feeling sad. I wanted to make the most of this precious life but I was weighed down by grief.

During the fertility tests, the consultant asked me, “Did you not think to freeze your eggs?”

I’d started chemotherapy 3 hours after diagnosis and wouldn’t have survived much longer if I hadn’t started treatment then, so I didn’t have that option.

But even so, what an unhelpful thing to say.

The whole experience felt lonely and unsupported.

I wish I’d known back then that I was going to find my way. That I would find happiness and joy again.

I didn’t realise that amongst all the grief, this would also become the beginning of finding my purpose, writing my book, and starting my coaching business.

I don’t think there are enough conversations around this topic, so I wanted to contribute to one.

If this is part of your story too, whether by choice or not by choice, you’re so welcome here.

☕️ I’d love to build a community for childfree women where we can talk honestly about purpose, legacy, grief, joy and creating a meaningful life beyond the script.

11th April. 💜💜💜

Today marks 8 years since I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive stage 4 blood cancer. I started chemotherapy hours later because I was so unwell, so there was no time to process it or make a plan.

Looking back, as someone who tends to overthink… that was probably a good thing 😂

I’ve had some new followers here recently so it felt like the right moment to share a little of my story and say hello.

That day changed my life completely. It was terrifying, but it was also the day I started to get better. Now, 8 years cancer free, it’s a day I’ll always feel grateful for.

I won’t pretend it’s been easy. There are still moments where I think about how life might have turned out. But I’ve come to see it differently…

What a privilege it is to feel it all.
The grief. The change. The unexpected.

And then to realise I get to take the reins and write what comes next. My way. My rules.

That was the real wake-up call for me. How quickly everything can change… and how important it is to stop waiting and start living.

My life looks different to what I once imagined, but it’s fuller, more present, and filled with so much joy in the small, ordinary moments.

Life doesn’t always go to plan.
But there is still so much love and joy available to you.

It might just look different to what you expected 🤍

8 years ago today I was rushed to hospital as an emergency after just landing back from my holiday. I had been In pain and had flu like symptoms for a few weeks but never expected it to be stage 4 Blood Cancer. My whole world was torn apart. I’ve been spiralling recently, I’d had rib pains for a while and my mind went straight to “oh god, I’ve got cancer and it’s spread and I’ve left it too long”. I realised today what date it was and that it was 8 years ago that I got rushed to hospital. I realised it’s no coincidence that I’m now freaking out. Even though it’s 8 years on, I’m still processing a lot of grief from that time of my life. My usual go to would have been to say I’m fine and carry on but I was gentle with myself today and so booked in with the doctor who gave me the reassurance that it’s just muscular and I’m fine. I think it can be hard to ask for help sometimes, to be vulnerable, to not always be the “strong” one so I had a big cry and realised that I just needed some extra guidance.
Anyway, I feel a lot better and sharing this in case anyone else has been through something similar and your mind spirals sometimes too. I feel that. I’m slowly learning to trust my body but also knowing when it’s time to go and get help! xx
