Are you convinced that what you are eating may be contributing to poor health? Do you suffer with bloating, headaches, gut issues, skin rashes and mood fluctuations? These are common symptoms of food intolerance which presents itself very differently to a food allergy.

A food allergy is an IgE immune response and will be immediate and often life threatening. These are of course easier to spot. Such as an allergy to nuts, dairy etc.

An intolerance, on the other hand, is an IgG immune response and can often be delayed (up to 1-3 days after consumption of the food) and is harder to spot because of this and the broad range of symptoms it can present with.

Food intolerance testing can be a way to detect the IgG response to a wide range of foods. I’m pleased to be working alongside this company who offer the gold standard of tests backed by scientific research. The test is able to highlight which foods are creating an IgG inflammatory response to you as an individual and results are shared easily in their user friendly app. Working with the right health professional, a plan can then be created to eliminate the foods causing the issues.

The long term plan would be to reintroduce these foods gradually, but only after we have gone through a thorough gut healing plan first.

Happy New Year!

Little bit late I know but I haven’t been on here in a while and thought it would be a time to share my thoughts.

As an empath, healer, energy worker, wife and mother- one thing I have begun to understand more and more is that I am not superhuman. Sometimes I need to rest too. Sometimes I need to work on myself before I can help others. The last few weeks have allowed me to do that and now I feel refreshed and ready to help others again! We all need to be able to recognise when the tank is empty and stop feeling guilty if you have to take some time out.

Did you know, the Throat Chakra is linked to our communication and our expression of self to the world.

I often see issues with the throat chakra as it is very common for trauma to occur here.

From my experience a lot of us do not honour our truth and we present a different aspect to the world. We may have learnt to do this as it kept us safe in the past.

Applying healing to the throat chakra can help us let go of that and step in to who we really are and be comfortable expressing that to the world.

People often say how liberating it is to finally let go of that mask and let their true self shine through!

If you feel you need support in this area it can be helpful to visualise the colour blue around the throat chakra. Singing or even screaming out loud (alone if you prefer!) can also help with releasing any blockages here.
