Hearing aids can often cause a blockage of
earwax.

Our client came in with loss of hearing and itchy ears, when carrying out a full ear assessment it was evident that there was significant earwax build up.

After using a combination of micro suction and
warm water irrigation our specialist Sandra safely removed all of the earwax build up and our client was able to hear clearer and feel comfortable.

Unfortunately wearing hearing aids and excessive ear wax production commonly come hand in hand.

This is understood to be due to the ear identifying the hearing aid as a foreign body, the ear will then produce more wax to try and expel the hearing aid from the ear.

(This is part of the ears natural response to protecting your ear drum/hearing)

Unfortunately wearing hearing aids and excessive ear wax production commonly come hand in hand.

This is understood to be due to your ear identifying the hearing aid as a foreign body, it knows it should not be there blocking the opening to your ear.
