✨ Thankful Thursday ✨

I’ll never tire of receiving testimonials like this one, for an event Dawn Clerkson and I ran at Nurstead Court. Who wouldn’t love hearing words like that?

It always makes my day — and reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

I’ve had many jobs in my life. Most of them, you do because you need to earn a living. But this one? This one I genuinely love. It’s a pleasure and a joy, day in and day out.

How lucky am I to do work that fills me up like this — and how lucky am I to have clients who support me the way you do.

I count my blessings every single day. Thank you 🙏

Wellbeing Wednesday

Move with your breath 🌬️
Vinyasa is all about connection — every inhale, every exhale, guiding you into the next pose. No rushing, no forcing, just flow.
Vinyasa often leans heavily on sun salutations, but personally I don't like to include too many in a practice — they can be a lot for the shoulders and spine. There are so many beautiful flows you can create using standing poses and balances instead.
I shot this while on location at my retreat venue in Tuscany — honestly, the perfect backdrop to practice yoga. Can't wait to get back here in September 🤍

Top Tip Tuesday — For the Runners! 🏃
If you love to run, this one’s for you.

Post-run stretching is SO important for recovery, and these are some of my favourites to help you look after those hardworking muscles 🙌

Downward Dog with a Pedal
Start by pedalling through the heels to warm up the calves, then extend one leg long whilst keeping the other slightly bent — hold here for a deeper, more targeted calf stretch. Feel that release? Yes please. ✨

Supine Hamstring Stretch
Lie on your back and extend one leg up towards the ceiling. Hold behind the thigh, calf, or foot — or use a yoga belt or resistance band to assist. No forcing it, just breathe and let the muscle soften 🧘‍♀️

Runner’s Lunge
Step one foot forward into a low lunge position. This is a beautiful stretch for those hip flexors that tighten up so much during a run. Hold and breathe.

A few minutes of stretching post-run can make a huge difference to how your body feels the next day — and the next run! 🏅
