OVER 100 YEARS OF HISTORY, AND NOW A NEW JOURNEY THROUGH SOUND**
Somatic Soundbath & Drum Journey Meditation
Friday 13 November | St Agnes Church, Port Talbot
Some buildings have a special atmosphere, and St Agnes Church is certainly one of them.
Built between 1909 and 1910, this beautiful church was designed by Cardiff architect F. R. Kempson. For over a century, its walls have witnessed generations of people coming together, sharing moments of reflection, connection and community.
With its beautiful stone arches, impressive architecture and wonderful acoustics, it's a remarkable setting to experience sound.
When we held our first Somatic Soundbath here in October, we knew we'd found somewhere special. The way our gongs, singing bowls and voices travelled through the building was simply beautiful.
And we're delighted to be returning!
On Friday 13 November, we'll fill this historic space once again with the sounds and vibrations of our gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes and drums.
Our somatic approach invites you to listen not just with your ears, but with your whole body. To notice how sound affects you, become aware of physical sensations, release tension where possible and give your nervous system an opportunity to settle.
We'll also guide you through a drum journey meditation, allowing the steady rhythm of the drum to support relaxation, reflection and connection with yourself.
There's no right or wrong way to experience our Soundbaths. Just come as you are, get comfortable and allow yourself two hours away from the demands of everyday life.
