To all of my wonderful clients & friends

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to share that I will be closing the salon permanently.

After ongoing health issues and a recent review with my GP, it has become clear that I am no longer able to maintain the physical and mental workload that comes with running the salon. This is not a decision I have taken lightly. The salon has meant so much to me, it was my chance to make something of myself to make my dad proud, and after everything I have put into building it, this is truly heartbreaking I haven’t even got the words to explain how I am feeling.

Unfortunately, I now need to focus on my health, my family, and being able to have the best quality of life possible.

I would like to thank every single client who has supported me over the years. Your loyalty, kindness, and support have meant more than you will ever know, and I will always be grateful.

If you have any prepaid treatments, courses, packages, gift vouchers, or outstanding credit, please get in touch with me and I will arrange a refund. I will also be contacting clients directly wherever possible to ensure everyone is looked after.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Although this chapter is ending much sooner than I ever imagined, I will always cherish the memories, friendships, and support that have come from it.

As many of my clients already know, since losing my dad I was diagnosed with a life-limiting condition, and over recent months my health has become unbearable.

I have tried my absolute best to continue working and keep the salon going, but my condition has caused me to repeatedly cancel and rearrange appointments. Not only has this had a huge impact on my own physical and mental health, but I know it has also been unfair and frustrating for my clients, and I can’t continue letting people down.

Following medical advice, I need to take some time away from work to focus on my health and recovery. Therefore, the salon will be temporarily closed for the next month while I try to stabilise my condition and reduce my stress levels.

My hope is to return on a reduced schedule of just 2 days per week, focusing on existing clients and prepaid treatment plans first while I adjust to a workload my body can realistically cope with.

For anyone with prepaid treatment plans or outstanding appointments, please don’t worry I will be in touch as soon as I can. However, I completely understand if anyone would prefer to have prepaid treatments refunded rather than wait, so please feel free to contact me directly and I will arrange this for you.

I want to sincerely thank every single client who has supported me, stood by me, and shown me kindness and understanding throughout this incredibly difficult time. Your loyalty and support have meant more to me than words can say.

Thank you all again for your patience, understanding, and continued support while I take the time I desperately need to focus on my health.

🤍 Saving Tate 🤍

Some of you may remember back during Christmas time I was fundraising for Tate but the amount needed for Tates treatment hasn’t been reached as of yet so I have made a decision!

In the salon right now, every £1 from our Lucky Dip treatments are being donated until next month to support Tate a 5 year old Swansea boy, who needs life-changing treatment costing over £1.5 million.

As a parent, I can’t even begin to imagine what his family are going through. It’s the kind of situation that stops you in your tracks and makes you realise how fragile everything really is.

I know I can’t fix something this big on my own, but I also couldn’t do nothing.

So I’ve decided that every single £1 from our Lucky Dip will go straight to Tate’s fundraiser, “Saving Tate”.

It might feel like just a small thing, but I truly believe small things, done by lots of people, are what create miracles.

If you choose to take part, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you don’t, just sharing his story or keeping him in your thoughts still means more than you know.

I’ll also be offering every client the opportunity to add a donation to their treatment cost or round up the amount in support of Tate.

Morning everyone 🤍

I’m going to be really honest today, because I don’t have it in me to pretend I’m okay.

Right now alongside my daughter being poorly I’m in the middle of a horrendous fibromyalgia flare-up and it feels like my whole body is fighting against me. I can barely lift my head, my arms feel like dead weight, and the pain in my hands is constant and unbearable. The fatigue and brain fog are just as bad.

And if I’m honest, it’s not just today. It feels like every time I start to get back on my feet, something knocks me straight back down again. I keep pushing, I keep trying, but some days it just feels relentless.

I’m feeling really low, exhausted, and worn down by it all but I’m still here, still showing up, and still doing everything I can.

My salon and my clients mean everything to me, and I care so much about what I do. I just wanted to share a bit of the reality behind the scenes, because some days take everything I have so if I’m a bit slow please bare with me.

I know some people would say “don’t share this with your clients, keep business separate” but that’s never been who I am. I AM AN OVER-SHARER and always will be.

The relationships I’ve built in my salon aren’t just appointments, they’re real friendships, true connections and they matter deeply to me because I care and feel so deeply.

I choose to be open because I want you to understand me, not just the work I do. I want you to see the real person behind it all, and the reality I sometimes have to push through.

It’s also why I care so much about creating a safe, non-judgemental space especially for those who are neurodivergent or struggling in ways that aren’t always visible. Because I get it. I live it.

And I want you to know that no matter what you’re dealing with in your own life, when you sit in my chair or lay on my beauty bed you’re not just a client to me. I’m here as a friend too. I will listen, I won’t judge, and I will support you in any way I can. That means just as much to me as the treatment itself.

Your patience, kindness and support mean more than I can put into words and I couldn’t keep going without your support 🤍

Hi everyone, just a quick update I’ve unfortunately come down with a sickness bug after being away so I’ll be cancelling all appointments scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday 2nd May) to prevent passing this on, I will be in touch to rearrange as soon as I’m back on my feet. I am hoping I will be ok to get everyone rebooked for Monday 4th May before I go on holiday.

Wow… what a week! ✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of our lovely clients both new faces and our amazing regulars who came in for appointments this week. We have been absolutely rushed off our feet, and I am completely exhausted… but every second has been 100% worth it. 💖

The salon is now officially closed after a crazy busy week of making people feel even more beautiful, confident, and refreshed. Seeing you all and sharing such lovely energy has been the best feeling.

I’m now off for a little holiday to rest, recharge, and soak up some zen and tranquillity with my little family🌿☀️

All messages will be replied to when I’m back on Saturday 2nd May.
