🌈 Swansea Pride 🌈
What an amazing day!
Thank you to everyone we met for being so kind, welcoming, and taking the time to listen to what we’re all about. Our table at Pride was there to help spread awareness around safe tattooing and piercing practices, and the importance of having these services carried out in a safe, professional, and supportive environment — something that sadly isn’t always guaranteed.
We also spoke a lot about gender-affirming tattoos and piercings, something many people don’t realise we offer. The positive impact we’ve personally seen these services have on people’s lives has been incredible.
We’ll be making a separate post about this very soon.
At Golden Hera, we’re always trying to grow beyond what we already are because every single one of you truly matters to us. Over the years, we’ve realised that for many people, our studio becomes more than just a place for tattoos and piercings — it becomes a safe space, somewhere you feel comfortable opening up, sharing experiences, and releasing trauma. We are forever grateful for that trust.
Because of this, we want to continue learning and doing more. This year, we have some amazing training lined up so we can offer even more support, information, and guidance where possible. At Pride, we met so many incredible charities and organisations raising awareness for issues that are heartbreaking but sadly very real for so many people.
We want Golden Hera to always be somewhere you feel safe — and if we can help you feel safer outside our walls, too, that would mean everything to us. 🖤
